Dr. Lauver is very knowledgeable and understanding with both myself and children. Elaine helped all of us pick out glasses that would work best for each of us. Her knowledge, patience and customer service is wonderful. So thankful for a great office to help us with our needs!

Do yourself a favor and do not use this location. Both times I was in here they were totally confused. Once they were telling me that I had to have an exam before they could give me contacts. They insisted and I almost left... I insisted on talking to a manger or the doctor and had to wait 20 minutes. When they finally saw that I had just had an exam and did say she was sorry and gave me trial contacts. I did not realize that they were trials, I thought insurance covered them... today I call and was told by a someone named Brooke "We have given you too many free contacts" She said it like I was trying to do something illegal. She told me I had to order and wait 3 days. I understand, but she was not someone that should ever be allowed to work with the public in a restaurant let alone a medical office. I work in the medical field and this would never be allowed by our customer service. They would be on suspension immediately if they spoke to someone how Brooke spoke to me. Every customer I've seen in there looked miserable. Go somewhere (anywhere) else. **update** called the next day and office is still acting like I am trying to scam them by getting emergency trial lenses that I offered to buy. I can't afford to order boxes today... and can't wait 3 days. This is an example of medical gaslighting. They are not abiding in the way that a medical office should and It's inexcusable.

Called me two days before my appointment to tell me they don't take my insurance. Although they claim to accept it directly on their website. Super bizarre that they would rather waste peoples time when they could simply remove it as an insurance option....

Had a great experience at the office with Dr. Lauver. He definitely knows my stuff and did a great job expediting my need for contacts at my appointment. Thanks Dr. Lauver and I recommend this office to anyone in the Lancaster area.

P.S. - After posting this I just scanned some of the other reviews re: the doctor rushing and/or not listing to patients and I found the exact opposite. I have an astigmatism and my old eye doctor who unfortunately retired had me set up with only one contact that is a multi-focal lens so that I can see close up with one eye and far away with the other and not need reading glasses. Definitely an unusual setup but it works great for me and after my exam it made sense to Dr. Lauver too. Being a new eye doctor to me and being an usual setup I thought he might try to talk me into something else but he saw it works great for me and wrote the new prescription the same so I would say he was excellent to work with.

I've been taking my son for several years now. The staff are always prompt, patient, and friendly! Definitely recommend going there!

Entire staff has been warm, friendly, easy to deal with. Definitely recommend.

Elaine was extremely helpful with ordering & adjusting our glasses for me and my husband. Loved her attention to detail. She even called a few days later to see how we were making out.
