Had so many issues ordering football goggles online for my son so I gave up and went to my eye doctor. April in the glasses department went above and beyond helping me and making sure he got a pair that fit and worked for him. She had a couple selected and put aside for our appointment before we got there. She also told me for next year to give her a heads up that we need a new pair and they can order some different pairs so they can have a variety for us. Very pleased and can't wait for these goggles to come in! Thank you April so much for being so patient with us, taking your time and not rushing us!
The eye doctor is extremely nice & polite. When my glasses came in , I went for my fitting of my eye glasses & the girl was very rude. She left me leave there with crocked eye glasses & feeling unsatisfied. I even said to her about how I felt they might be the wrong script. Then I had numerous people telling me how crocked they looked when I got to work the next day. I kept feeling dizzy & thinking maybe the script is wrong. But i gave it a week & no change. So I called & told them I think my script is wrong because I feel very dizzy wearing them. They brought me in again & I had Erica who was awesome!!!!! She saw right away they were crooked & all over my face which was contributing to the dizziness. She set me right up & fitted my glasses to my face. She was so thoughtful, kind, professional & apologetic for my experience after telling her about her co-worker. She is definitely an asset to Werners eyes of Windgap pa. Not only was she absolutely awesome, she even called me a week later to see how I was doing with my eye glasses. Workers like her need to be compensated for her over & beyond commitment to this practice & their clients. I can't express how much i appreciated her & her patience. Stay away from the girl with medium length brown hair when it comes to fittings for glasses as she is rude & unprofessional to say the least. Ask for Erica, you will not be disappointed & will only have to make one trip instead of two. Thank you Erica!!!!!!! You're the best. Keep up the great work!!!
If you're lucky enough, the whole mess starts off with a beautiful smile from the witty and (mostly) wise Linda at the front desk. From there it transitions to wonderful staff who guide you through the process of spending lots of money in able to see correctly. Seriously though, I'll never go to a chain again if I continue to get this level of service and fun. They are great, will take care of all your needs, and probably even provide a smart retort to anything you'd care to dish up.
I had an exceptional experience with the practice. The doctor was precise, efficient and had great bedside manner. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. I was able to purchase two pairs of glasses with no pressure, and they took their time (even though their break was coming up). I'll go again to get another pair of glasses.
I had problems with my prescription on my new glasses. Tanya and Dr. Werner went above and beyond to make things right. I experienced a level of customer service that is found almost never nowadays with most businesses.
I am a customer for life and recommend them to everyone I talk to.
Thank you Wind Gap Family Eye Care for your customer commitment and high level of professionalism! And your patience.
Our whole family goes to Wind Gap Family Eye Care and they are wonderful. Very grateful for the friendly doctors and staff and always patient as we all pick out frames. Our youngest is super tough on glasses and they have always taken care of him, fixing or reshaping bent frames. Highly recommend.
So, my fiance James Payne is a patient there, or was a patient there. Very poor experience all around & very dissatisfied with how it was handled. My fiance has worn single vision lenses, office decided he was best suited for progressives, fine. Charged a good amount to provide them, only to finally switch back to single & tell him his lenses/frames used were too small to handle the script. Lost money there, but back to single we go & wait for the glasses-would've been nice to know that from the start. Guess we should be thankful to be charged more, to have them replaced back to what he had at no charge? 2nd, sunglasses, used our own frames again & do yourself a favor, don't sign the waiver. The frames & lenses on the sunglasses came back totally chipped & scratched. New lenses were made, waited again. The receptionist was quick to point out that my fiance signed the waiver that if they damage the frames, well, they weren't liable. So ty to her, lol. I could've done a more professional job installing the lenses myself with zero optical experience. All around extremely poor experience, never once did a manager call to express apology or anything, not even a partial refund. Also, the driveway sucks, lose the weird landscaping & add more spots/room. All in all, maybe 6+ trips there to be left with a similar script in both glasses, chipped up sunglass frames, lost time, inconvenience & a bill for prescription lenses that never fit the size of lenses/frame we had to begin with. Thanks Werner Eyes, worst eye experience we've had, won't return. Patient time should be valued just as much as the dr. Also, patients should walk away happy & content with their experience. Not once did we ever hear personally from a manager to apologize. Just excuses & well, you signed a form. Great new patient experience, def NOT!
The worst eye Dr. Office I have ever been. The Dr. Is hardly in and not good I've had better in prison! The staff is rude they didn't tell me the Dr. Was sick I came from 35 min on the bus and 60$ Uber and they told me when I got there. I feel like they stole the one exam my insurance gives me and they are holding my contacts and the prescription hostage. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME HERE.
