Advanced Family Eye Care

Hi! I'm a 2-year return patient, 59 years old. I've had 3 Strabismus eye surgeries over 50 years in my life. I also had Custom Bladeless Lasik at TLC Laser Eye Centers in Wexford in 2015. So, my eyes are important to me, my vision is very good, AND I care who takes care of my eyes and advises m with expertise & kindness. So, with that, I completely, totally, honestly recommend Advanced Family Eyecare in Zelienople or Ellwood City! I had Expert Excellent exam care both years by Dr Tyler Dean OD, who remembered me AND my eyes. I got the complete intraocular exam & optical prescription. I even got the color pics of my in-eye retinas sent to my home Email! Amazing tech! I haven't needed or worn corrective eyeglasses since 2015. But, getting older, I took the opportunity to purchase a great new pair Now to be safe & have even better vision at night & for the safest driving. Since eyeglasses have changed a lot (for the better) since 2015, I had lots of questions & choices to make with the In-House Opticians. I got excellent, informed, & KIND PATIENT care from opticians Hannah AND Brandon. I was There for 4+ Hours (My choice, Everyone's pleasure). They have every possible eyeglass frame, lens, feature, color, style, AND warranty that I could want! I'm confident I made fantastic choices and will have my best eyeglasses & best vision In My Life thus far! I went in today for "just a basic exam" and i happily received "The Bonus"! All good! (And i AM a smart choosy thrifty informed person) So, my total experience Was Indeed awesome! The Doc was great; The Techs were great; The Opticians were great; The Billing Reps were great. For Gosh Sakes, the parking area, waiting room, misc comforts, paperwork receipts, phonecalls, business cards,...And Restrooms... Were All great!!! I had Big Smiles from all there for my Entire 4 hour visit, "tour", and purchase! So, don't thank me for this very positive review... Thank Everyone at Advanced Family Eyecare for all the expert modern KIND CARING PATIENT GENEROUS work that they did for me 2 great years! I'm happy, satisfied, & thrilled i found Them! (Really!!) Dr Holloway was extremely thorough. Everyone was super nice. Brandon was excellent at fitting me with new glasses. Best eye experienced I've had in many, many years! Everything was perfect!

Unfortunately, there is no way around them dilating your eyes. They have to do that to get good pictures however, if you were like me and are very sensitive after the eye dilation, talk to them about getting the milder one. I can't and neither can they promise it'll work in every case, But they were very accommodating when I explained how far I was driving And the headache I had after my last visit. I've been going there since I was a child so I might be partial but if you're looking for a good eye doctor, I highly recommend checking out their offices!

They have helped me twice now get metal out of my eye. I just walked in and didn't even have an appointment, never got my eyes checked there yet they got me right in to see the doc. He is so polite and genuinely likes his job which I appreciate. He was so great digging the metal out of my eye. He is very gentle and is very thorough about making sure it's out. Next time I need an eye exam and eyeglasses, I will be going to them. I highly recommend them!!!

I've gone to this office for the last 22 years no matter who the doctors have been, and it's always been wonderful. However, since Dr. Brett joined this office, it's somehow become even better. When I called in a panic because I lost total vision in my right eye 10 minutes before they closed, he stayed and took me in after hours on a Saturday to help me and confirm I had a detached retina and set me up with a specialist that same day down in Pittsburgh. Then he checked in on me for the next two weeks. Those kind of things just stick with you and you never forget it. I love it there and tell everyone I know that they should go to this office!

Wonderful team, so helpful and knowledgeable! Lots of frame options from classic and trendy brands. They even let me take home multiple samples of contact lenses so I could find the prescription that works best instead of making a decision in the office. So glad I made the switch!

Great Service, I like going here as you get treated like family. The doctors, the ladies at the front desk, and the people that help you with the frames are all NICE people. Today the front desk spent 20 months on the phone getting me set up with the Retina consult I needed.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and I am thrilled that I found such a nice Eye Doctor and staff as Advanced Family Eye Care. I went for my first visit today and received a very thorough exam. Dr. Holloway is very friendly and does a great job of explaining what he is doing and what, if anything, he finds during his exam. I highly recommend this office for Dr. Holloway and all the staff.
