Since moving to the Gold Coast, I'd been looking for an optometrist I could truly call "my doctor" -- someone to care for my whole family. And then I found Dr. Michael Hare! He reminds me so much of my doctor back in Brazil -- knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely caring.
He did the eye assessment for my 5-year-old daughter, and it was wonderful to watch! He was kind, playful, and so patient that she absolutely loved the whole experience -- especially the little gifts at the end. My husband also had his appointment and really appreciated Dr. Michael's "old-school" double-check approach. I'll be the next one to book!
A special mention to Peter, who helped us with the frames and lenses. He's such a lovely person -- super patient and detailed in explaining all the options. We left the clinic feeling completely looked after.
If you're looking for an optometrist for your whole family, Dr. Michael is the one. And the best part -- the clinic has its own optical store, so you can get your glasses made right there.

I have been going to Michael Hare before he branched out on his own...when we were both "young"..I have had many of his team members look after me as well over the 20 years ..Everyone is friendly treat you with respect & very professional..The girls all fabulous too..
