Absolute joke!!! Waited more than 2 hrs for a 2 minute appointment that went no where. By the time I left there was no one at the front counter, it was dark out and they'd all gone home. The worst part was there were still people waiting to be seen. Sort your client management out, couldn't organise a raffle in a chicken shop. I'll be finding a new optometrist

This place has one of the worse time management systems . We waited over an hour and the doctor was not even there. Does he think we come at 9 and he starts work whenever he feels like it ? Every time we go there they have a different excuse, my mum is old and sitting waiting and waiting it's sad. Mum walked out twice , today was our last visit and mum said no I want to go home. Mum is 82 and I know the doctor is not that age , he had no regard for his clients. To a certain extent he has us hostage to options for under privileged elder patients. Not happy

Our family of three are all patients of Bill Talbot over a few years now. Bill is very thorough and efficient in all his dealings with us. With our young daughter, he is able to put her at ease and talk her through what needs to be done in a very child-friendly manner. As for myself, being a contact-lens wearer, Bill is very attentive and mindful with any presenting concerns. He treats my issues with such a sense of urgency that is quite comforting and reassuring. He has seen me on very short notice and on occasion has even opened up the practice outside of hours to attend to an urgent issue. My husband is a glaucoma candidate and Bill has monitored his condition with absolute care and efficiency. As a result, the pressure behind his eyes is now at a good level. We are blessed to have Bill for our eye specialist. He takes care of us really well. He provides excellent eye health care to each member of our family. And we don't mind the wait because of the quality of his service, along with his staff.

Love Dr Talbot. Honest and genuine advice and consult for my daughter who had so much issues from birth . He never tried to push us to unnecessary procedures at young age!! Yes there's along wait times but obviously he's good for people who are willing to wait for a long time! Absolutely love the practice. Highly recommend !! My lala says her eyes are now princess eyes x

Best opthamologist especially for elderly and with paeds too! Totally understand why it's always packed with patients (of all ages) obviously they're renown cos they're extremely sought after. Just be mindful that allow min 2 hours and that is for a team comprehensive assessment.. including dilation drop that need 40 mins to work prior to see the opthamologist. So really you're not really waiting as it is the whole procedure. Plus we were never felt rushed in Drs consultation and they genuinely listen and answer all your questions thoroughly. Had several procedures for my family through Dr Talbot and we are super pleased and glad for his care plus honesty. Oh, they provide really good coffee and tea (no dodgey coffee machine) with bickies and it's all complitmentary! Kids have a play area with activities plus they did lend iPads for patients too. They really try the best to make patients feel comfortable. Best staff. From what I hear Dr Talbot volunteers for the YWAM medical ship too. Thank you Dr Talbot and Team xx

Dr Talbot and staff are tremendous to interact with. The staff ae helpful and caring. Dr Talbot actually cares for the patients he works with. He remembers them and is caring. He explains everything in a simple manner. I would always return if need be, while happily recommend Dr Talbot to anyone requiring a specialist for their eyes.

Yes, there can be a wait but be smart, phone ahead to find out if there is a delay and then accommodate. Quality eye care can take time. This has been my wife's experience. She has been a patient of Bill's since 2011 and the care she has received is unparalleled. Not only does Bill take the time to explain in a way that makes sense to those of us who are not ophthalmologists, he genuinely cares for each person. He makes the effort to put fears to rest and to investigate new and improved ways to treat difficult conditions. Thanks Bill and your terrific team. We appreciate you all.

As both the parent of a client and a tradesperson who visits to provide service here, this is an example of how a clinic should be. Gentle staff, comfortable facilities and quality nurturing care, with attention to detail. I can't imagine wanting to rush expertise - fast food can be useful but care and attention to a well prepared meal is much better. So it should definitely be with your eyes.
