Excellent Optometrist!! I have been a patient of Dr. Girgenti's for over 26 years. Dr. Girgenti is such a great eye doctor. His exams are very thorough and detailed. He takes the time to explain everything to you regarding your eye sight, eye glass prescriptions, etc. He will sit with you and help you find the perfect eye glasses. His selection is great! If he doesn't have a frame that you are looking for, he will happily order it for you. My whole family are patients and I have also referred Dr. Girgenti to many of my friends when they mention that they are looking for an new eye doctor. Doctor Girgenti is caring and very thorough! The office is modern and welcoming. I have a difficult time finding frames I like and found the selection suited my needs. Parking is plentiful since the office is located in a shopping center. If you are looking for a new optometrist, I highly recommend North Scituate Family Eye Care.

Dr Girgenti takes extra care with his patients, you can see he loves what he does. I had a problem with my eye and he made the time to see me in his office. He immediately diagnosed the problem, prescribed medication, and I felt better quickly. He is the type of doctor who gives individual attention.

Dr. Girgenti - nice guy & if he can't, he'll point you in the right direction. recommendation I got. so i called to double check if he can help me new lenses on old frame. the lady who answers the phone, she says : yes, he can help me with my old frame. so she took my insurance details to check and called back saying they cover my insurance and i have a great vision cover etc. ok. i want my old frame. she said NO, he can't help me with my old frame. I replied to her, you just told me this morning he can help me. she denied and asked how old is my old frame. what is the point of asking if he doesn't do old frame? ok! my frame is two months. what's is even the point of asking how old is my glasses ? twisted old frame in a new lenses. the answer is yes/no. simple isn't ? Not for that receptionist! GREED
