Aledo Family Eye Care

Love this office!!! Everyone is super nice and the office is always clean. I would have forgotten my yearly exam had they not sent me a text letting me know that they had set it up for me. I am terrible about remembering to make my appointments so this is a bonus!!

I went to them with something lodged in my eye and was causing me great discomfort. They checked my eye and told me it whatever it was is no longer in there and sent me home. My eye continued to get worse and I could not sleep that night due to the pain. I decided to give them a chance again especially since I already paid and did not want to pay another doctor and went there first thing in the morning. She flipped my eyelid and found a speck of wood. Now my eye has to heal from the additional scratching. The young eye doctor was very sweet and caring and apologized. When I asked the front desk / billing person if they were billing my insurance again, she said yes, it is policy. I asked her to talk to the doctor as this was their mistake. I told her I should not have had to come back, miss work and also deal with the additional pain and be charged again for something they should have caught during the first visit. The lady at the front desk was very rude, did not care I suffered from eye pain and additional scratching or having to miss work and said she was billing my insurance again. I am a business owner myself and this is a horrible way to conduct business. I was very understanding when they didn't find the debris in my eye the first time and told them mistakes happen. What I am not understanding is why you are charging me twice for the same thing and don't apologize for missing it in the first place.

Unprofessional and incompetent. I would not recommend for anyone with unconventional healthcare policies as their office staff and billing department lack the emotional and intellectual intelligence to address these unique plans. The doctor is kind and knowledgeable and although I've been a patient of convenience (they are the closest) for the past 3 years...myself and my family will never set foot in there again.

I've been apprehensive about getting my eyes checked and dreading that I need glasses. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcome. The staff were sweet, the doctor was thorough, and everyone understanding of my lengthy questionnaires... when it was time to pick out frames for my new prescription, the gal was so helpful. And we had a lot of fun! These guys made my experience wonderful and I'm happy I'll soon be able to drive at night again!

My appt was on time, people were friendly. The doctor always answers my questions, I don't feel rushed. First time I've EVER been completely happy with my script & how the glasses fit! They were marked correctly, so I actually wear them constantly!!

Dr. Kennedy is the best! So patient with my kids and very professional. My husband and I have seen her for a few years now and we are so excited she's in Aledo. Such nice staff and a great experience!

Aledo Family Eye Care has a very attentive staff. I love the fact that that they automatically set my appointment for the next year and send me a text to remind me.

I moved a year ago. I still travel to Aledo Eye for my eye exams. Simply the best I have been seeing the same eye company in Weatherford for over 30 years. Never again will I go back there after receiving the amazing care from Aledo Family Eye Care!! Top of the line equipment, knowledgeable staff, and impeccably clean facilities!! Thank you for your help and care. Dr Kennedy was top of the line caring.
