Family Eye Clinic of Breckenridge

The staff was friendly, and the appointment was timely. They guided my daughter in choosing frames that would fit her style while also staying in our insurance coverage. They DO accept medicaid!

My family is new to Breckenridge. My glasses broke right after moving here. Family Eye Clinic got me right in and was very nice about working me into their schedule. Dr. Toombs was great. When my first contacts weren't quite right he got me back in and worked with me until they were perfect, and My new glasses help me see better than I have in years. So glad to have a great local Dr. I can trust with my family.

First initial visit my daughter's glasses where supposed to be ready for pick up on Tuesday. We were told that the frames didnt get ordered and she would have to wait another week. Then a month later she broke her frame. Went in to get replacement frame and was told they didnt accept her insurance. I asked what do you mean she got her glasses from here a month ago. The girl at the desk was VERY rude and said they were renewing their contract. My daughter cant see without her glasses! The rude girl at the desk then tells me I'll have to pay $79 for replacement glasses. I said for a new frame she said oh you want to use your old lens ok then $58. Replacement frames are free with my daughters insurance! Very unprofessional!!!

Who recommends a 7 year old to get contacts? He greatly missed diagnosed our kid. Then he said it was going to be a $200 for the prescription. Went and got our daughter checked by a different thank eye doctor thank goodness and it was only $40. He's all about that $$$.

This was my eye doctor through highschool. Then being home on a holiday weekend my 4 year old got debris in his eye. Came in on day off to diagnose and get the antibiotic eye drops Needed. Thankful because cooks pediatrician couldn't call it in and needed to be seen and the urgent cares wouldn't see him due to age! Saved us a drive back into the City for a cooks urgent care.

My ex-husband took our daughter here who has only seen pediatric eye specialist in the past and was greatly mis diagnosed by Dr. Toombs. Her prescription was way off from where she needed to be he is not a specialist . I don't recommend him for serious eye issues or for children

Fast, friendly, helpful staff.. lots of modern frames to choose from. A little expensive but worth it

I took my 2 kids to this eye Dr. Both kids and myself were very pleased with their services and visit. Both kids got their glasses that same day.
