Wonderful experience! When my network changed years ago, I was not able to see the doctor I had seen for many years, and I bounced around for quite some time looking for an optical home. When I found out Dr. Puryear is in my network, it was a no-brainer to make the switch! Dr. Puryer was amazing and thorough, and her team was very friendly and welcoming. Getting setup as a new patient was very easy and the office is cozy and beyond clean. I thought I could see well with my glasses, but Dr. Puryear got me in an even better prescription, and addressed an issue without my prompting that other doctors have ignored when I questioned them about the issue in the past. I am relieved to have found a doctor I can trust, and will ALWAYS make the drive from Dallas to see Dr. Puryear.

Outstanding service and outstanding staff! The best experience I have ever had with any eye care facility. I'm 80 years old and have been wearing glasses since I was 11. So no lack of experience with eye care companies. Everyone was not only professional but very friendly and knowledgeable. You won't find a better place to take care of your eyes. All this being said, I think the prices for the glasses was very reasonable. Go check 'em out!!

I have not had a good experience with a vision center in a very long time ! I've worn glasses or contacts since I was about 11 years old so I've had my fair share of experiences. This place is by far superior to the rest and Dr. Puryear and her staff are pleasant , patient and so friendly. Dr. Puryear takes the time to actually review your vision along with your medical background carefully, her office is not just trying to sell you stuff and get you out of the room. I'll be coming here for as long as they let me :).

My family did not get the opportunity to attend our scheduled appointments. In May I called this office and asked them if they take VSP insurance, prior to enrolling in the VSP vision plan. They assured me that they did. I said great and signed up for a VSP plan for my family. The coverage started June 1st. I called this office right after that and was told that the only appointments open we for the end of July. We booked July 29th and July 31st. On the day of our first appointment my husband gets a voicemail letting him know that they don't take our insurance..the insurance plan that I bought with thier assurance that they take it. We waited for almost two months for these appointments! Was there no time during those months to let us know? When I called the lady I spoke to said that this was a known issue... that they have issues with the specific plan that we enrolled in. Why would they not mention that when they confirmed that they take VSP EXCEPT FOR THIS PLAN. Then someone from they office texted me and said that my family has medicaid and they don't take medicaid... MY FAMILY DOES NOT HAVE MEDICAID...we have VSP... I'm not sure about the Doctor himself, but his office appears to be unorganized with poor communication. So now I am scrambling to get my kids into the eye doctor before school starts...all thanks to this eye center.

I have used MV Eye Care for 2 years. Dr Puryear and her staff are excellent! Kind, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

I took my prescription to them along with my own frames to have new lenses put in my frames. Finally around a month later I get the call to pick them up. My daughter works just down the street from them so she picked them up. When I got the glasses I put them on and could not see anything up close. The bifocals was blurry and I couldn't see. I contacted the office and was told it's fine you have to get used to them. Umm no. I have been dealing with eye doctors since 1977 due to losing sight in one eye from trauma. I'm not going to wear something to get used to it and mess up the one eye I have. I took those glasses to another eye doctor who checked the strength. +2.75 but my prescription was a +2.50. I call back to the office and advise them of this to which I was told that that's within tolerance and o could go back to my eye doctor to get a prescription and bring it to them so they could send it back to be corrected. Well why am I going to pay for another visit for a prescription that they already have. I called my insurance they said to return the lenses and call them back to let them know and they would restore my benefits and deny the claim. I did so and requested my $220 I paid out of pocket back and they will not refund that even though they have the lenses back because they messed up. I have all my conversations with them recorded for back up on what I am saying. Horrible service and as far as I am concerned they are committing insurance fraud by not returning my $220 to my HSA card.

Great service! I had an eye issue that was quickly diagnosed and explained. A few days later, my eye was great again! If you need an eye clinic in this area, go here!

I've worn glasses virtually my whole life. Dr. Puryear gave the most thorough and informative exam ever. As silly as it sounds, I didn't know I have dry eyes; I thought I couldn't keep them open because I was tired all the time! Life changing to now treat the symptoms correctly.
