Dr. Burges was great and all the staff were helpful and knowledgeable when my husband and I went in for eye exams. It was a great experience. However, a few weeks later my husband had a question about his prescription. The young lady who helped us began to get aggravated and at one point she even violated patient confidentiality by asking about a health condition very loudly where everyone in the waiting room could hear. We didn't appreciate this and we may even reconsider returning next time we need exams.

My mom was having vision issues with one eye, so she went with Doc Burges. He dismissed her issues as it wasnt a big deal.she went again and finally took pictures inside her eye. He said possible tear in retina.So my mom followed his instructions. Her vision got worse in a matter of days, she was rushed to another specialist in San antonio and said she had 3 large tears and almost all of retina was detached. That whatever Doc Burges said was all wrong. She should have been at bedrest ,and tht it was very a very serious. She needed an emergency surgery. In my opinion, you think he'd be educated enough to know this was serious.

We waited to long due to the fact that this gentleman waltz on in just to buy sunglasses that he had not placed an appointment for and was entitled to go before us meaning there was an elderly lady waiting for an hour before us. They need to provide better service even though we have state benefits
and he paid cash/credit we still are customers.
