Dr. Pena was amazing and very accommodating. Please do not listen to the one star review below, I found Dr. Pena incredibly reasonable in finding the right time for us to meet and I was in and out of his office in under half an hour. Would absolutely recommend Dr. Pena to anyone in need of an eye exam or glasses around the South Padre Island area.

Amazing experience! My husband needed an eye appointment , and Dr. Pena was able to get him in within less than an hour. My husband says he was kind and welcoming, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. Dr. Pena was thorough and professional. We truly appreciate the quick care and attention. We highly recommend this office!

Dr. Pena was amazing! I lost my glasses in the ocean and was able to get an early morning appointment. Not only did he get me a new prescription for glasses, he also gave me trial contacts so that I would be able to see for the rest of my trip! He was also super helpful in showing me how toput the contacts in and take them out.

So thankful for Dr. Pena. I accidentally threw out my last pair of contact lenses during my holiday here and he was able to meet with me within hours for a replacement (even though his office was closed that day). Dr. Pena is super responsive and professional. Port Isabel is lucky to have him!

My first visit yesterday at Ocean Optical in Port Isabel with Dr. Pena was fantastic. I was in need of a change of my contact lenses to a less strong prescription. Dr. Pena provided me with a new pair of contact lenses immediately. It was a nice option to be able to try out the new prescription prior to ordering a larger supply. Dr. Pena is not only an amazing person but an awesome Dr. I would like to thank you for going out of your way on a busy weekend to meet me for replacement contacts while I'm in town vacationing with my family. Your a life saver. We both know I'm blind like a bat! And you came through and helped me out! I really appreciate your service sir. More Doctors should strive to be like him. I highly reco Dr. Pena he is a true eye doctor who can probably tell your vision from a mile away. Fast, efficient, trustworthy, and personalized service - don't be confused leave a message as instructed he will get back to you if you live in the SPI/PI area - these days we are so lucky to have quality people like Dr. Pena still available to make the drive and pay for office space and gas and make it convenient for us to get vision care in this area. Dr. Pena is great! I lost my glasses in the ocean and he was able to get me in the next morning. He gave me a quick exam and was able to get me a set of contacts on the spot! Highly recommend!
