I recently had a great experience here. I was given a thorough and professional examination by Dr. Jon Nitardy. He was very kind and patient and took time to listen to me. I was impressed at the level of technology there and how thoroughly he explained each procedure. I have rather complicated vision problems and Dr Nitardy was very knowledgeable about my special needs. He was well versed and made excellent treatment suggestions. I also noticed how kind and patient Dr Nitardy was with children while I was there. His staff was equally professional and kind. The facility is immaculate and very pleasant and comfortable. I needed a prescription for c glasses and contacts because my vision has changed. I can now see clearly again! was really fortunate to find Dr Nitardy. He solved an ongoing vision problem I had and I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Dr Nitardy.

The staff at Texas State Optical were equally amazing, providing a welcoming and professional environment. The optician Trish was fantastic, offering a great selection of options and helping me find the perfect fit. The office and environment is one of the nicest clinics that I have ever visited. Everything about the experience was white glove and the patient experience was amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Jon Nitardy and the new Texas State Optical in Port Neches for anyone in need of top-notch eye care. They truly go above and beyond in every aspect.

I have been a patient of Dr. Simmons for over 15 years. He knows my eyes better than I do! His office staff is efficient. My appointment usually takes less than 30 minutes from the time I walk in to the time I walk out for a routine exam. I am going to be very sad when Dr. Simmons retires someday!

Wonderful place. Dr Nitardy made my process feel very comfortable. Definitely will keep going on my yearly check up.

I will never return to or reccomend this eye facilty. Actually i would deter anyone from seeing this Dr. I asked for a simple eye exam and new contacts. I paid for my contacts, i could not even drive my vision was so poor. I asked for my existing presription and same brand of contacts and they charged me double after they put me through switching contacts eye to eye, this not healthy. Stay away from these incompetent, unethical, franchises. Im now out of contacts, waiting over a month for my old prescription and brand. Also filing a complaint w the TOB. I cant see now.

I've used Dr. Simmons for years and he's seen me through many eye infections. He diagnosed my detached retina and got me in immediately to a specialist. Definitely recommend Dr. Simmons.

Great doc, no BS staff. If you like getting in and out this is the place for you.

Very rude staff. Will never do business with them.
