I like Dr Chu, just fine. The receptionist has been nice However, the goal being new contacts is still not achieved I was able to pick up a pair a couple of weeks after my appointment, but I did not care for them I called to set up trying a different type My work hours don't align The last time I was able to go to the office and pick up a different pair of trial contacts, instead of picking up contacts I had a glaucoma test and then ended up sitting in the office until I no longer had time to get the contacts I've never needed an eye exam to just pick up trial contacts I have never had so much trouble obtaining trial contacts Yes, the Rx needs to be at a level I can see, but the trial is to see if I like them and they are comfortable Additionally, when I call the office I don't reach a person, the call goes directly to a notice stating that the mailbox is already full and I can not leave a message

I went in to get my eyes examined for a new prescription to find out that apparently my weight and how I clean my face is the reason the dr couldn't give me and accurate prescription. What I thought would be a safe space turned into a weight shaming by the doctor giving me my exam. She told me come back In 3 months once you've lost 30-50 lbs and I can give you a better prescription and your stigmatism should correct its self. She then proceeded to tell me I have the eyes of a 40 year old(I'm in my 20s) and u less I got my hormones in check an removed my birth control methods I wouldn't be able to see correctly. The last time I checked I went to the eye doctor not the gynecologist. I'd like to also add I live a very healthy lifestyle and have never once been told this by a doctor to lose weight or my vision would be effected.

I had this displeasure of seeing Dr. Chu 2/9/24 at 1 o'clock. I'm not sure she really knows what she's talking about and on top of that she's very rude and disrespectful. basically told me i couldn't see because i haven't been breathing for the past five year and that bifocals could fix it. i asked my grandmother to come back with me to see if she knew what Dr. Chu was talking about. my grandmother then started to ask Dr. Chu very good and valid questions. ones that i was not thinking to ask. Dr. Chu rudely interrupted my grandmother fussing at her saying " grandma she's 24!" my age has nothing to do with anything and my grandmother was the one paying for the service. we were both just trying to understand what was going on. after Dr. Chu got done rambling she asked if we had anymore questions and my grandmother asked if we were getting a prescription today Dr. Chu rudely replied "Grandma calm down!" basically belittling and making my grandmother feel stupid. Have never seen that much disrespect from a professional to a customer... if she even is a professional.. i think she just likes to hear herself talk.

The ONLY reason I went to Dr Chu was because my Dr of choice had taken a leave of absence . I will NEVER go back. Dr Chu lied to me and told me eye dilation was required which it is not and told me she would not release my prescription if I didn't have it done. She has no bed side manor what so ever, extremely rude and disrespectful. I ended up having to spend more than I had planned for because she lied. And btw the eye dilation showed nothing so I wasted the money behind her being greedy.

Worst place to get eyes checked. They are rude and uninviting. The lady in front has be one of the rudest people I have ever met. They book up the waiting room and make you wait a hour after your appointment. They take Walmart employees first over everyone. I can go on for days. I will never go back here again. I been going here for 12 years.

The staff and doctor are very friendly and fast. The doctor went above and beyond to help me realize a deficiency in my son's eyes I was never aware of. I appreciate her help.
