Eyes On Westlake is five (5) star rated in every aspect that I experienced. The support staff is highly trained, efficient, and very friendly. Dr Blythe McPherson was excellent, knowledgeable, and thorough with wonderful doctor patient communication skills. They have the latest technology systems for your best eye care needs. I highly recommend them. Please support your local individual/family owned businesses.

First of all, you walk into a beautiful office, which is loaded with all of the latest equipment and many many choices for eyeglass frames. Every single person you talk to from the receptionist, to the eye tech to the doctor herself are very personable and welcoming, and have your best interest at heart. There is pristine attention to detail. Beautiful, clean office, state-of-the-art equipment, and people who genuinely want you to feel comfortable and are so very helpful. They have a beautiful way of letting you know about their extra services without pressuring you. And I loved the little touches of whimsy, with the dog books and little bowls of candy.

I have been impressed from day one with everyone in this office. However, I have never seen a staff come together so quickly to get my son to a specialist when he had an emergency. We have been thrilled to make the switch to Eyes on Westlake!

Had an issue with eye inflammation after lash extension reaction. They got me in quickly and upon arrival I was greeted and offered something to drink while waiting! It was line going for a spa treatment. I got great information about the issue with my eyes and a plan of action for relief. They were fast and kind but very attentive!

Olivia was as kind and welcoming as I entered. Diane was great with doing the various test and Dr McPherson was on target with the prescription. Connie was great with the selection of the glasses. Superior business . All 5 stars here. If I could leave a 10 of 10 star feedback I certainly would do so.

Their staff is so friendly and helpful. They strive to make you comfortable and process you back to see the doctor in a timely manner. Dr. McPherson creates a warm genuine relationship with her patients. She takes her time and listens to all your concerns.

From the moment I walked in, every handoff was seamless - front desk, assistant, doctor, and the glasses/optical team... all excellent. What stood out most was how thorough and holistic the experience felt. They didn't just rush me through an exam - they helped me understand the bigger picture: what's going on, the likely root causes, and the practical paths in front of me. I left feeling informed, not sold to. Another huge win: complete clarity on costs. There was zero ambiguity about what insurance covered versus what would be out-of-pocket. They even did the math with me in real time - showing the total investment compared to sticking with my current 1-800 contacts approach, and where I could actually save by doing an annual contact package paired with a few other options. That kind of transparency is rare, and it builds trust fast. I also appreciated how they let me "run the gauntlet" as a new patient - exploring whether I wanted to switch contact options or stay with the brand I've used for years. No pressure, just guidance. And the trial contacts they put me in (which the doctor personally uses) were shockingly comfortable - super breathable, to the point I almost forgot I was wearing them. Mid-day I caught myself thinking, "Is this what a miracle healing feels like?" Then I remembered: nope - just a doctor who cared enough to let me try something better while still honoring that my current brand may be totally fine too. Last detail that mattered more than I expected: I was able to select frames online ahead of time and even do a virtual try-on. For someone like me who can get anxious with too many choices (hello decision fatigue), that made the whole process calmer and more enjoyable. I came in because my spouse had such a great experience here - and now I completely understand why. Also yes... I booked this right at the end of the year because I apparently enjoy living on the edge. If you want an optometry team that's competent, kind, transparent, and genuinely invested in your long-term eye health, this is the place. Highly recommend.
