From setting an appointment to walking out the door with my new glasses, this was by far the best experience I have had with any eye doctor! Dr. McClain was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Got my prescription perfect in a short amount of time! Hunter's customer service is unmatched. He was attentive, professional, and fun to talk to. I was pretty indecisive about which frames I wanted, and he helped me navigate which fit my face. Even sat through a phone call with my mom and sister! I will never go anywhere else for my eye care. Highly recommend!

Had my first eye appointment at Urban Optics on 2/21/2026 with Dr. Leclear and it was by far the best experience I have ever had. He was so down to earth and worked really hard at getting my prescription to work the best it possibly could for me. Trinity was amazing as well! She hand picked several frames for me and knocked it out the park with her very first pick. The second I put the frames on I was in love! I have never been a fan of glasses but for the first time I am excited for them to come in. The whole experience was nothing short of amazing. I left feeling very confident in my exam and the frames chosen. I recommend Urban Optics for your eye care needs. I even told my 2 grown daughters they need to drive to College Station and see Dr. Leclear as well. I am so glad I found him and the practice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely amazing!!

We literally walked in and the inside of the building layout was awesome, clean and friendly service at the entrance counter getting checked in. Met with three different people and all of them were fantastic. The eye exam was quick and easy and very thorough. I love how they show you the scans of your eyes and what everything means. Used three different scanner machines to get different data for the optometrist. I thought I had 20/20 vision and wouldn't need glasses but found out I'm far sided and needed prescription glasses. Great glasses options from cheaper to higher end options. Overall 5 stars and well done!

Hands Down the Best Eye Doctor Experience!
This is by far the best eye doctor's office I've ever been to! From the moment we walked in, everyone was polite, welcoming, and down to earth. The lady who helped us was especially great with my kids--she understood their lingo and connected with them in a way that made the whole experience fun and comfortable.
The doctor is amazing--super funny, easy to talk to, and most importantly, you can tell he genuinely cares about your eye health. He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure I felt heard and taken care of.
If you're looking for a place where your whole family feels valued and well-treated, this is it. Highly recommend!

When you walk into Urban Optics, you feel like you have walked into a gallery. You are greeted at the door and checked in right away. The staff are very personable and put you at ease. The up to date technology they use is amazing. They don't have to dilate your eyes, and all of the machines they use are non-invasive, so you are relaxed during the exam. Alexis was a delightful technician who was so warm and engaging in our conversations. Dr. McClain was very attentive and gave me all of the options to treat dry eyes. I have been going here for years and full heartedly recommend Urban Optics for all of your eye treatment needs.

I brought my 7yr old to his yearly eye appointment and from the moment we walked in everyone in the office was welcoming and professional. Hunter is extremely efficient and was great with my son, made him feel at ease during the whole process. Dr. Greene is very informative, he clearly explained everything and gave us ideas for patching our son's eye to make it less of an ordeal.
