Dr. Navarro and Dr. Bri are highly skilled physicians with impressive expertise. They demonstrate genuine compassion, clear communication, and attentiveness which establishes trust and confidence in their care. Their approach is distinct and very comforting. My kids and I have been going to EVC for over 10 years for routine eye exams, however, recently my teen needed medical treatment. My teen received the BEST care by these two excellent doctors. Also, every technician assisting the doctors was intentional about making sure that my son felt comfortable and each one had meaningful conversations with him. In my opinion, that is the epitome of high quality healthCARE! Yes, in the past, I have experienced issues with the front staff (they're not always friendly) but they have improved. I have also experienced long wait times, but it is important to remember that medical offices aren't fast food restaurants and each patient requires different exams and treatment. Know that you are receiving EXCEPTIONAL and thorough care with these doctors. I am grateful that I placed my trust in these two wonderful doctors and am extremely satisfied with the service received. Absolute horrible place! The staff and their "policies" are ridiculous. The wait time is anywhere from 3-5 hours!! The doctor is fine. He gets the job done. But administrative staff needs to do better. They have a cancellation policy, yet don't have it written on paper for patients to sign. They want to charge $25 for cancelling same day. Doesn't matter your reason. I understand no call, no show fees, but cancelling for other medical reasons and charging the patient is not ok! Put it in writing, add it to the stack of paperwork we already have to fill out and make us sign so that we are better aware! This is not ok.s

Edinburg Vision Center is a wonderful place for vision care. Their doctors are exceptional at getting your prescription just right, and they take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire visit. The staff is friendly, patient, and professional, and the whole experience--from the exam to choosing eyewear--feels smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the care and attention they give each patient. Highly recommended!

One of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. I brought my autistic child in for an optometry appointment and was shocked by how rude and dismissive Dr Luis Navarro was. From the moment we were called back, he acted visibly annoyed by my child, offered very little patience, and showed no understanding or compassion for a neurodivergent child who was clearly trying their best. On top of that, we were forced to wait 3-4 hours past our appointment time with no meaningful explanation or apology. Keeping any child waiting that long is unacceptable, but doing so to an autistic child and then behaving irritated when they struggle is inexcusable. A doctor who works with children should have at least basic empathy and professionalism. This one had neither. I would strongly discourage any parent--especially those with special needs children--from coming here.

The staff was friendly. The assistants were friendly and professional as well. My appointment was at 2:00pm and it was already 3:40pm and I hadn't seen the doctor. After the doctor, I would have still needed to get my glasses fitted and pick out frames. Wait time was too long. When I got there, there were only 2 people in the waiting room. It looked rather empty. So I am not sure what was causing the back up. When I left I was made aware of the $50 fee for leaving before completing the appointment. Staff did not provide me with another appointment time, although I asked that as soon as I decided to leave to head back to work. Unfortunately, I don't have 2-3 hours to take leave for an eye appointment.

The Doctor was amazing with my autistic child. He made him feel comfortable and relaxed. The tech were also good with my children. I appreciate everything they do for my children.

Wait time was less than 20 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Yahaira was amazing. She helped me with my frames.. I was very satisfied.

Took my kids here and Dr Navarro was actually very impatient , he stated "Mom , I need help " I got up to assist him and asked "what can I do to help ", HE STATED THE SAME PHRASE BACK WITH SUCH A ANNOYED ATTITUDE. DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING KIDS .
