Timp Vision Clinic - Highland

I recently saw Dr King for a follow up eye exam and contact fitting. He listened to my concerns and helped me understand my options. He also had suggestions I hadn't considered to help my vision. Also since he was aware that I don't have insurance, he was careful about his recommendations. This clinic is great, I have seen both doctors, they are both professional and thorough and the staff is friendly.

The staff are kind and professional. I would recommend the services. I only gave it a three because I had no idea that an office visit was $400! Perhaps it is a reflection of the economy more than the services... Or the cost of insurance, or air-conditioning in the building... I have no idea, but I won't be returning simply because of that. Can't afford it it :-(

I just picked up my new glasses and they are amazing! They are light weight stay in place. The eye exam was a really good experience as well.

Excellence in eye health service! As a new patient, you'll be thrilled with the tablet medical history collection process... it took less than 3 minutes. Katie at the front desk is patient and kind. Next, you'll have the lottery of techs who will do the things before the doctor sees you. If you get Gates, your lottery ticket was a winner. (If the others are as good as him, you also got a winning ticket). He is efficient and good at what he does. Finally, I was just in a hurry to get an eye exam (it had been a year and because I've been trained by Amazon, I don't like to wait), so it was great that Timpanogos Vision had next day availability. My vision insurance search site showed Timpanogos Vision Center as being well rated, and Google reviews backed up that claim. Dr. Aaron L. King is in the top tier of any eye doctor I've ever seen! He was a great communicator and provided insights into daily practices with my eyes that could improve my eye health. They have the Optomap Retinal exam for a small fee, but are not fussy if you opt for dilation drops. Whether you are a long time local resident looking to have a different experience, or you are new in town and looking for a great eye doctor and clinic, you will be happy with Timpanogos Vision Center! Easy 5 stars! Update 10/9/2025 - Moved their office back half a block, and upgraded everything, including the Optos machine that takes incredibly detailed pictures of the back of the eye! Kyle was the optical tech who saw me before The Dr. Aaron L. King. (Kyle was as good as Gates, same efficiency and good vibes attitude.) You can look for a better provider of eye health, but you won't find one. Dr. King was the same as before, efficient, but not rushed, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my vision health. Also, the word on the street is that Dr. King has a number of sports professionals, including Mammoth, under his care. Come for the quality care, stay for friendly, efficient, and superior people-side aspects!

I appreciate the professionalism of the doctor at Timpanogos Vision Center, but my experience was disappointing overall. On the day of my appointment, I received a text stating that cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance would result in a $25 fee, which felt abrupt given the timing. When I arrived, I was handed a paper explaining that a new technology is used at every appointment and that it adds a mandatory $35 charge. No one mentioned this beforehand or explained it in person. When I asked if it could be declined since I had just had a full vision exam elsewhere, I was told it was required regardless. I would have appreciated being informed of this extra charge before booking, as it would have influenced my decision to schedule. The visit felt very transactional rather than patient-focused. I only went because my insurance was accepted here, but the required add-on fee made it not worth it. I won't be returning.

t's been a while since I've had my vision checked and Dr. Potts is so friendly and personable he makes you feel at home! Front staff is friendly. Dr. Potts took his time in examining my eyes, and explained everything thoroughly. I felt like I was appreciated as a customer and will definitely come back here for future eye visits!

Being 71 years old I've seen a few eye doctors in my day. At the Timp vision clinic it was a whole new experience. Besides being infectiously friendly the techs and doctor and staff were all so amazing. After all the testing was completed I was floored by a step by step explanation of what each test was for and why I needed it. After years of going to random eye clinics not knowing anything besides come back next year and we will check your eyes again. Timp vision clinic is the only clinic I will trust my vision to. If you care about your eyesight this is where you want to go. This is old school care they are the best.

What great service! I was visiting the area on vacation when my contact ripped and I had forgotten to bring extras with me. The office staff provided me a set with no questions asked no charge! Thank you Nicole for letting me see for the rest of my vacation!
