America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received. I initially paid to have my glasses shipped to my home in Utah; however, they were mistakenly sent to Colorado. When I called to address the issue, the representative I spoke with seemed annoyed by my call and was dismissive. She indicated she would investigate the problem and follow up with me, but I never received any communication. New glasses were eventually ordered, and my husband drove several hours to pick them up. When he brought them home, we discovered they were incorrect. I then spoke with a manager who was polite, but rather than working to resolve the issue, suggested that the problem was due to my eyes not adjusting or that I may have answered the "1 or 2" vision test questions incorrectly. Unsatisfied, I visited a different location in the northern area, where they evaluated the glasses and reviewed the prescription. I was informed that the glasses I received did not contain prescription lenses at all--they still had the original floor demo lenses in them. When I explained the full situation to the staff at the other location, they were astonished by how unprofessional my experience had been. I am very disappointed by the lack of quality control, communication, and accountability throughout this process.

These people are great! I'm not even a patient and they went out of their way to accommodate me and do me a huge favor. I'm visiting from out of town and somehow forgot to pack my contacts but have been getting by with my glasses... until I managed to accidentally crush them. A nightmare situation for a blind guy on vacation! I called America's Best to ask if they had any trial contacts I could have to get me by. Fiona was the one who took my call, and out of the goodness of her heart, even though I'm not a patient, decided to help me out. My heart is full of gratitude for her kindness. Thank you so much!

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible store. Will never be back. Ordered several glasses for both my daughter and myself. Usually go to Costco or through retailer eye doctor but my daughter found a set of glasses she liked there. Staff seemed bothered to help us initially, should have left then. Persevered and order anyway. Daughter was satisfied with her glasses but my RX sunglasses (Raybans) were horrible. I tried on in store and they fit my face perfectly. When my RX came in they were falling off my face. Tried to get them to adjust and they tried but still super loose. Staff seemed bothered to make adjustments and said that's just how they are. I pulled glasses from display and there was visible different in frames (how spread out arms were). Stayed for about an hour to have them adjust and couldn't do much. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Better off at Walmart. I still haven't worn new sunglasses as they fall off my face. I understand things happen but staff unable/unwilling to fix situation is what motivated me to write review. So disappointed, hopefully can get my regular doctor to fix them but may just be wasted money.

This will likely be the easiest review I've ever written. The entire staff, from front desk to eye tests, were an absolute joy to be with. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable with regards to their inventory and options available. I had a very small budget to work with, and while I wasn't able to get all I wanted, we worked through a few options until I was able to get all I needed and nearly within budget. The wait time? What wait time? There wasn't any. My glasses are finally in frames I'm not embarrassed to wear. See easy, I know it was the best experience I've had of it's kind bar none. Highly recommend you give them your first attention.

Ended up getting a pair of sun glasses from them. Well, I got them and there's no prescription. I live 3 hours away. So I have to drive back down there to give it to them. So that way they can send it out, and then I gotta come back to come and pick them up. As well in the beginning, trying to get insurance set up with them was a pain. Not all their fault, but they definitely didn't help. I will give him they have cheap prices, but they are not reliable.

My experience at this eyeglasses office was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff were noticeably rude when we asked simple questions about our insurance and payment options. Instead of helping us understand the process, we were rushed through every step. At one point, I was sitting with a staff member who actually raised their voice at me just for asking a question about contact lenses. The entire visit felt unprofessional, rushed, and uncomfortable. If you're looking for good customer service or a welcoming environment, this is definitely not the place. But if you're seeking a stressful and unpleasant experience, then this office would be the perfect choice.

Shelley was great, Kind and generous. Dr Smith was very nice as well, along with the woman who did my preliminary exam... BUT! Talk about bait & switch. I need progressives so they advertise 2 for $159 right?! Ah no! They don't even try to get you that price or mention it, actually. They KNOW you are coming in for what is advertised price yet don't tell you if the frames you are picking are included or anything. I knew I would pay a bit more for transitions but i was quoted OVER $800 for 2 pair. So much for their advertised price. I like the glasses I picked but I won't return there because I don't like bait & switch or people advertising a price and are not open and honest about it or even trying to get you that deal. Disappointed in that part but the people did work with me so that is why the 4 stars. I would rather it be 3.5 because of how much I paid for my one pair- but I do like them very much

The doctor was nice but all the ladies besides the assistant manager was awful. I went to get the exam + 2 frames and I miss spelt my name and she laughed and said how does someone miss spell their own name. I was asked if I wanted the contact exam and I said no cause I was going just for glasses. They charged for contact exam Even tho I said no. The older lady with glasses argued with me at her professional job and left me leaving the store crying.
