Dr. Runke is, quite frankly, the best optometrist I've ever seen. She has a "bedside manner" of advising and explaining things which in much of the broader medical profession today is a lost art form. Plus, Dr. Runke runs an outstanding operation with a warm yet very professional staff that made the whole exam process easy. I highly recommend her and Great Falls Eyecare.

Amazing service. This doctor provided the best eye exam I ever had in my life and for the first time I feel like I have an accurate prescription for my eyes.
She was very patient and keen on helping me gain the best eyesight.
I couldn't imagine getting an eye exam anywhere else after this.
I will have to note that the types of frames here surprised me greatly, as I'm used to going to Americas Best, with a great difference in budget pricing.
This is a boutique shop with name brand glasses, so expect to find some interesting frames here.
Going in with an insurance plan is highly recommended

Great Falls Eyecare has amazing customer service, latest technology (no more eye drops to dilate!), knowledgeable staff, and were very efficient. I got high quality and personalized care - no more 'assembly line' eye exams! I highly recommend (would give >5 stars if I could!).

Just called to schedule a basic eye exam for contacts. I asked about pricing and was told it was $500-600 without insurance. Having needed eyecare for 30yrs and been around very good doctors (John Hopkins executive team and other surgeons not just optometrists) that is either insane or the person who answered the phone is confused. The last complete exam I had from a highly recommended surgical group was half that. Normal eye insurance pays very small amounts for any of these services.

Great people and top-notch frame/lens, but sub-optimal execution.
I got a pair of Lindberg+Zeiss, the process before final product went smooth and perfect: doctor is super nice and patient, advanced technololgies in all steps which I like, and frame selection is good.
Unfortunately, I have to take one star off for the final product: see attached photo, the lens has pretty significant stress (upper left), as compared with my old one (upper right), which basically has no stress at all. Also, the frame received pretty bad scratch during final adjustment(lower). Although these are mostly cosmetic and does not impact the wearing much, it is pretty disheartening considering the expectation from the top tech and product.
