Dr. Nichols and her staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. They are efficient and every appointment experienced were on-time or early. I am fortunate to be part of Vision Source.

Unprofessional and confusing/additional bills show up weeks after appointment even though we already paid.

Update: After my complaint, Davenport Vision Source contacted the lab, who caused the multiple trips by not filling the order as requested for my lenses. The lab agreed to pay my outstanding balance to compensate for my many trips and time taken away from work. I was finally able to get my new lenses in my frames and they fit (and I can see better). Thank you! They really are sweet people! The vendors a company chooses for their support team seriously affects how your customers perceive your business. Original complaint: Very friendly and nice except when they are not....a couple things - 1. Their glasses lab cannot get an order correct, ever. My glasses I purchased 2 years ago, during the height of the pandemic, took almost 3 months to arrive, as they kept being shipped with incorrect lenses (wrong prescription). This year, I thought it would be better since the pandemic is mostly over, but no, I've been waiting since Dec. 8, 2022 for replacement lenses for my existing frames. The new lenses have come in three times and been the wrong size every time. The lenses literally won't fit in the frame. Each time, I was told, we are so sorry, we will get them correct, and we will take care of you somehow for the inconvenience. Each time, I had to take off work to go in during their special hours, and I simply cannot take any more time off work for this kind of ridiculous and repeated errors. With the office closed every Friday, and only open 8am to 5pm (and closed for an hour lunch) I can't get in to see them without taking a 1/2 day off work, so I sent my husband in to have them exchange the new lenses that arrived into my new frames. They would not give him my glasses (that I paid for new lenses in December) since I had a balance that just appeared on my account today, as they heard back from my insurance to let them know what was covered and my portion from a visit in late January. "Office policy" was quoted as to why they were holding my glasses hostage for a payment of $128.70 that has nothing to do with the price I paid for the new lenses on December 8th. I haven't even received a bill for my most recent service yet, nor has my insurance processed a claim that I can see on my Member portal. I am very unhappy and left my glasses there and I will pay when my insurance tells me my portion. I think this is horrible Customer service. I love supporting small local businesses, but I will go into Spokane now to get better service from the lab, and be able to at least receive a bill and a few days to pay my portion after insurance is processed. I was not asked to pay anything at the time of service, so the bill is nowhere near past due.

Great experience and knowledge . Fast service (by appt) currently short on staffing, but are managing their appointments (at least mine) excellently.

Dr Nichols has been my eye doctor for 10 or more years. Even when I moved 30 miles away to another town I continue to go to her.
