My experience with the Dr. Who team for scleral lenses was truly amazing and life-changing. I'm beyond Grateful! And thankful he truly cared if I could see... However, I had a negative encounter with a staff member--the blonde receptionist at the front desk who wore glasses. Unfortunately, she was not kind and exhibited poor people skills. She refused to assist me and had me wait Several months more than 6 -8 months for an appointment. In person & at follow-up... Very unprofessional. I believe that this kind of customer service is Problematic to see people act the way she did ...it kept me from seeing. I was overwhelmed with scheduling. It took 6 months to make an appointment, and she made it worse purposely. I have very low vision and need to care for a loved one...she may need to not work with people if you can't be kind or Decent you never know what people are going through. It was Absolutely horrible Scheduling.. I was a DSB Client they sent everything needed Which I appreciated. I definitely felt otherd . I Had an experience so bad with Receptionist..I will save up and never go to a vendor again. It's been a tough year, but this wasn't right.

Dr. Williams was friendly and thorough during my exam, which I appreciated. However, I had an issue with my prescription, and when I returned to the office to address it, the receptionist refused to schedule a follow-up appointment. She said: "Our policy is if you have issues with your glasses, you need to deal with the business who made them." This response was dismissive and unhelpful, especially when all I needed was clarification on the prescription itself. The lack of support from the front desk was incredibly frustrating and left a very negative impression. Obviously, I'll look elsewhere for my eye care.

Absolutely best eye care that I've had. They truly know what they're doing. Excellent selection of glasses and they explained well what my insurance covers. I highly recommend. Special shout out to Diana for helping me out and helping me choose my glasses

Super nice, professional staff (Which is hard to find in Tacoma.) Clean office, organized & attentive staff. Optometrist was very kind & personable. Would def recommend to anyone looking for glasses. All medical offices should be ran like this place IMO.

Dr Garlick and the staff at Family Eye Care are great! Very knowledgeable, thorough and attentive as well as pleasant and nice to see. Glasses scripts are accurate and I can always call if I am in need of an unexpected medical appointment and get the help I need.

I was a new patient. From the phone inquiry until the end of my appointment, I was given friendly, professional and courteous service. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Gosh I'm so bad with names but the nice young lady who did the initial exam and Dr. Sharon were friendly and kind keeping me at ease while explaining the process. The gentleman who assisted me with frame choices knew his job very well and was very accommodating. The staff that were near him helped me model and choose. Wonderful team and exemplary service! Can't wait for my new eye gear, thank you!

We have been clients for a couple of years now. The staff are always so friendly and respectful. When you leave a voicemail they'll call you back fast. The Drs. are very thorough with their exams and actually explain their findings without having to ask. There is a nice selection of glasses and the prices are good. They'll help you pick a pair and no surprise fees. They're very upfront about the entire process.

This place is friendly for the exam . However if you rely on splitting up payments to order glasses this is not the place to go. you won't know how much it is until the end of the appointment. There were certain things I need part of my glasses. this made my bill go to almost 300$. In the end becuase they won't split payments. (Half at the time of order and then half when shipment Comes in) They lost out. My almost 300$ I left only paying 78 for only glasses no add one. I paid for super basic. If you want to order glasses this is not the place if you need to split payment due. I'll be going to get the add on needs else where.
