McChord Optometry

Had an appointment and like anyone else, Of course I plugged in the website address because i'm not familiar with base at all. just a spouse. When i get to the address, there's a sign saying they moved. Nobody on the phone told me they were at a different location than what's stated on their website. I called the front desk, Caroline, picked up. I explained my situation and asked if they would give a grace period so i can make it to my appointment since they're located on main post and not AFB. it was already 11:50 she said if i wasn't there within 5 minutes after my scheduled time they would have to reschedule. And so when i asked for the address she sounded annoyed, she said it was on main post. I said well can i have an exact address since this one led me to AFB, she sighed and gave me the address of what i could barely hear her, if you're gonna work front desk at least be willing to answer questions. With 5 Minutes until my appointment, I decided to call and ask if i could reschedule my appointment because the person I made my appointment with never informed me about their change in address. and she hung up mid call. so not only did i show up to the wrong place, i didn't even get to get rescheduled. pretty disappointed with this experience overall and the way they would treat potential customers.

From my arrival your receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The doctor greeted me and made me feel welcome. Eye exam was very informative and friendly, i would most definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to my next visit.

Super convenient to schedule an appointment online and got an appointment within 2days! Saw dr dahlin and he was fantastic! Had a great experience for my first eye exam, ever!!! He explained everything well and had a great sense of humor! Highly recommend them to everyone!

My wife and I made back to back appointments. It worked out great. We were in and out very quickly. Great staff and very friendly. A very positive visit. We will continue coming here.

My son and I received our vision test here. Dr cannon was really patience with my son and I. Get in as soon as you can to experience top notch treatment. I can't forget the clerk, she was awesome also. Hooah!

To all the newbies and oldies there's this thing called "manning issues " unfortunately it's not just medical its the entire base... we're literally trying to do the mission and cater to you old folks. Active duty here, got seen quick & got my glasses quicker too! Y'all doing great!

Dr. Dahlin was very nice & professional. The office was clean and smelled good. The appointment was quick, and there was no waiting. I would definitely recommend going here for your eye exam and other eye needs.

Do not go here for your optometry needs, ESPECIALLY if you are military. I don't know how this business is approved to be contracted on a military facility. Customer service is poor and after three visits I still do not have my daughter's prescription ! An extreme unnecessary waste of time and money! You are much better off going to an America's Best, JCPenney or similar optometry clinic.
