B-Town Eyecare

I have seen Dr. Bansal for several years now and I have always felt that she is truly very caring about her patients. She treats me like I'm a friend and always takes time to explain everything about the health of my eyes and answers all my questions. Everyone that works at B-Town Eyecare is very nice and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone!

I assumed what I was experiencing with my eyes was no big deal and maybe just one of those things about aging that I would have to live with. B-Town Eyecare set me straight and probably saved my vision. They answered all my questions thoroughly and talked me through an expertly administered treatment. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Bansal for years! She and her team are always welcoming and kind. They go the extra mile to make sure their patients are well taken care of. Highly recommend--10/10!

Absolutely outstanding. The nicest, kindest, and greatest group of people. Highly recommended. A colleague had his work glasses break and the team here fixed them in under 20 minutes, on short notice and didn't even charge for their work. I'll absolutely be sending all my friends and family here!!

Just avoid this office. There are lots of nice, casual, honest optometry businesses in every neighborhood. This office is run like a weird internet mortgage company, and I came out of a VSP-covered exam with a bill because the doctor didn't warn me before doing costly eye scans. This might be normal for the consultant they hired to make sure they were extracting maximum value from their customers, but normal people think that's trashy and predatory. This place is decidedly trashy. They won't make an appointment unless you sign tons of forms, and one of the lines on one of the forms lets them charge you for procedures without the doctor mentioning it's $200. There are a lot of nice people who would never think to run up your bill for no good reason. Find one and go there. This is not that place. This place is not nice, not casual, and not honest. It's a trashy business. FOLLOW UP: Got 2 snail-mail letters today, one certified, telling me I'm no longer a patient at their practice. This after my single phone call challenging the upsell and the review above. TBH, I wouldn't want me as a customer either if the business adds unnecessary expensive services without warning. I'm not nice to businesses of any sort who charge stuff on my tab without asking.

I am a dentist in the neighborhood and had a bit of an emergency with a missing glasses screw. We walked in and immediately were helped. They fixed my glasses quickly with no interruption of patient care at my office. I will absolutely be recommending all my patients come see B Town Eyecare. Thank you so much guys!

I had the BEST vision appointment ever! Highly recommend this team. Each team member appears to be an expert in their field of expertise, on top of being friendly & caring. Dr. Bansal & Aaliyah have incorporated into their practice the most up to date & innovative assessments. It's reassuring to know that this team continuously strives to improve their knowledge & expertise, but also in good communication practices, thorough explanation of the legal aspects of running a service business, and most importantly showing clients that they care.

So close... I really was looking forward to leaving a great review but... I came in for my annual eye exam and to get my lenses replaced because they were scratched. Everyone was very helpful and friendly throughout the process, making it a truly positive experience, with 5-stars up to this point. Without a doubt, this is a great staff and Doctor. Where I was let down a little, and the reason for only three out of five stars was twofold. The first reason was what my insurance covered, which was about $100 of the nearly $2000 bill. I could have easily ordered lenes online for less than $300 for equivalent Zeiss lenses. There is a little deception when they note they are aligned with or part of... with VSP--they are NOT. This location is 100% out of network for VSP, and I felt they could have done a better job of clarifying this so that I would not have been surprised by the lack of claim coverage. I do take 50% of the responsibility here in not doing all of my homework. Would it have changed my mind on ordering lenses? Yes, it would have. The second reason and the core reason for only three stars is the lack of follow-up. I paid to have additional testing done, and from those tests, the doctor had concerns. So much so that she noted it was urgent that I see a specialist for a follow-up, and she was going to provide me with a referral. Well, after several weeks and a follow-up email from me, no referral. So much for their concern for my eyes. Taking matters into my own hands, I made an appointment with a specialist where I get my primary care, but requested copies of the tests from B-town so that I could pass them along to the specialist... again, no response or reply to my request. It's such a shame. We were off to such a great start. I thought I had someone I could easily go to and trust in my neighborhood. I'm giving this place 3 stars today. If you're reading this, just ask lots of questions about insurance coverage and don't leave without getting copies of any critical test results that a specialist might need or benefit from in diagnosing your concerns. Hope this helps with future customers but also for the staff at B-town in knowing where they might be able to improve as again, I really did enjoy how friendly and accommodating they were during my appointment.
