I recently had a branch retinal vein occlusion and got treatment on Monday. I'm in New Jersey. I'm a brass musician and I asked a question to the horn people Facebook page to see if anyone had any experience as a musician who was also a retina specialist. Alan French was in the page and we had talked all Monday. He looked at my scans and reassured me I was getting better. He took his time for free and talked to me about my experience and I got a lot of answers from him. He is a very great doctor!!

Dr. French is by far the best eye doctor I've been to. He is personable and professional and phenomenal with kids. I've been a patient for years, but we took my daughter for the first time when she was starting school and she was hesitant and nervous, but Dr. French was awesome with her and so patient. The whole staff is top notch!

Wonderful office! Everyone was so kind and the office is very clean. It is always intimidating going to a new office but the ladies at the front desk were very nice and Jennifer explained everything very well and made me feel like I was a longtime friend. Dr. French was outstanding. He is very personable and VERY thorough. He took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. They truly make their patients feel valued and not 'just another number'. Dr. French has been my optometrist since I first needed glasses about 15 years ago. He and his staff are always very kind and so welcoming! He always takes the time to explain everything. He always asks about my family. All of his staff are super sweet and very helpful! They take the time to help you pick out the right frames that fit and look good on your face. My boys have visited his office many times too and Dr. French is very good with them!
