SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean Eye Care

My pharmacy tried to check on a prescription for me. The clinic did not return message. I called left message. Next day I waited 10 minutes on hold, was promised a callback and that my account had been documented.Called following day on hold 12 minutes. Told rep why I was calling. She asked me to hold so she coukd check. I'm still on call 30 minutes later. At 35 minutes call was disconnected. They did call back to say no drs in Dodgeville all week. So nothing can be done until Monday. This is DEFINITELY NOT the clinic to use.

Once again the wrong prescription in that the reading part of my trifocals is impossible to see through unless I hold the frames way up on my nose, even though the frames are not small. Also, these people NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. AS I WRITE THES, TUE 4:42, A SLOW TIME, THEY WILL NOT PICK UP THE PHONE. BTW, Vicki is very good at adjusting your frames. Don't let anybody else NEAR them. I HAVE NEVER ONCE GONE THERE WITHOUT HAVING TO GO BACK TO HAVE THEM GET IT RIGHT. NOT ONCE IN 15 YEARS!

Made an appointment to have lenses inserted into existing frames. Amy had prescription and insurance coverages ready for discussion. Very professional and pleasant meeting.

When the appointment was made (over a month prior) we explained that we would be losing insurance as of July 1st and wanted to have my daughter seen prior to July 1st. The appointment was made for June 30th I moved around my schedule for the entire day (over an hour drive to get to the clinic) Paid for my two younger children to go to daycare. My husband had to schedule and pay his assistant to come in to work so he can leave early to pick the children up from daycare. Then.... I get a call THE EVENING BEFORE her appointment telling me that we will need to reschedule the appointment due to them forgetting to order what they need for her fitting. When I called to see if there was anything I could do to get my daughter in and quite honestly completely confused as to why the appointment was even made for that day in the first place or at the the very least why they waited until the night before to notify me of them canceling the appointment I was met with extremely rude and unprofessional staff

$552 for a routine eye exam! Avoid this place unless you enjoy getting ripped off. This was a standard exam for eyeglasses that many places offer for free.

Dr rickles did a fantastic job on my eye exam. I have keratoconus and he is the first eye doctor to get my prescription right in my ENTIRE life. Will be coming back.

The worst mistake Dean Care did was selling the business to SSM. Since the take over patient care has gone done hill, in every phase.
