Eye Clinic of Wisconsin

Dr. Birsching made me have a great day!! I was having a rough one but after his kindness and great care, I left the office with actual relief and a bounce in my step! I think he deserves a bonus. Eye Clinic is lucky to have him. The company retains customers based on the care they receive and their experience. I saw him at the end of the day, and the remaining hours before tomorrow comes were bright and happy BECAUSE of my vist with him.

My first encounter withe Eye Clinic if Wisconsin was with Vinnie, he arranged for me to be seen immediately today for my concern. Upon arrival and lively young women took my information. I then proceeded to be interview by a nurse Katie ( I think that was her name ) and she put me at ease about the tests that I was going to have during my visit. Dr. Michalski examined and explained what was causing my eye concern with compassion . It was a wonderful experience and I left feeling well taken care of.

This was our first visit at the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. The office is easy to find off Hwy 39 and Stanley St. The clinic staff are very helpful. My husband's appointment with Dr Fish (Audiologist) went well and was on time.

On Monday, February 9th at approximately 8:30 am I contacted the Eye Clinic to make an appointment. I spoke with Laura, the person doing the scheduling, and described a momentary blinding flash of light event I experienced on Saturday. I told her I believed I should have an appointment as soon as possible. She said the next avaliable appointment was at "approximate time" 9:30 am in Wauseau. I said I lived in Waupaca which is 1 1/2 hrs away and wouldn't make it on time. I asked if she had a later time available. Laura stated that she had to fill the first available appointment first before she could schedule another. I asked if she had a later appointment available in Steven's Point. She said she had a 9:30 am appointment available in Point. I mentioned that I lived 1hr away from from the clinic in Point and needed a later time frame. Once again she she had to fill the first available appointment before she could schedule another. Frustrated by this ridiculous conversation I said I would call back later when other times would open up. Fortunately when I called back I spoke with a person named Vinney. He asked me to describe the flash in my eyes and if I was experiencing floaters and blurry vision. I answered yes to these questions and he promptly scheduled an appointment for later in the afternoon. My past experience with the Eye Clinic has always been pleasant and positive. In my 81 years of life I have never written a formal complaint about anyone. Typically when I receive outstanding service from caretakers I put it in writing and inform their CEO.

Great first impression. Friendly and professional staff and a thorough evaluation. I'll be going back and I'd highly recommend them if you're needing eye care.

Everyone from the Doctor (Flatter), to the front desk workers were very nice, professional & friendly. They all seemed happy to be working there too. Highly recommend!!

The customer service at this clinic was extremely disappointing. They knowingly failed to inform me that my insurance was not accepted when I scheduled my appointment. Even worse, they allowed me to check in on the day of the appointment without mentioning it. Weeks later, I received a bill for over $500 for a routine eye exam -- something I reasonably assumed would be covered. When I contacted the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin, I was told it was my responsibility to know my coverage details. While I fully acknowledge that patients should understand their own insurance, it's unethical for a provider to withhold that information knowing it will result in a large out-of-pocket expense. To make matters worse, they refused to void the original claim and rerun it under a different insurance option -- as a future healthcare provider, this is something I know can be done. It was clear they simply didn't want to take the time to help. I'm extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled and will never return to this clinic.

The lady who did his pre doctor check was absolutely amazing and Dr.Katie was wonderful too. My grand father is elderly and very hard of hearing, and they were so helpful in dealing with him. Highly recommend this place.
