Susrut Eye Hospital Top doctors

Everything is good here. The hospital is clean. The staff are well behaved as well as they deal with the people nicely. Doctors are top class in this district. Most importantly there is the facility of parking in the hospital. Hospital surroundings are not so busy. 1 star is deducted because waiting space is not adequate. The toilet is not in an adequate number. I saw a queue in front of a female toilet! . It is a big hospital and it should have a centralised air conditioning system.

Susrut is one of the finest eye care center with large no of Doctors and medical test equipment. Due to very low visit (fee) it's very crowded but still its very fast to serve a large number of patient. It has a spectacle department and one pharmacy separately. Cataract operation is the main target of many aged people and found coming from all the parts of the district. All other type of operations done here. It is also accredited by NABH for eye care facilities. Behavior of staff and doctors are very good.

All things are good . But never purchase sunglasses from here. They charge a very High price for a photo frame . Otherwise the doctors and stuff are very kind and helpful.

In the year 1999, Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre used to serve only 80 to 90 patients in the outpatient department, whereas in 2006 it in augurated a 9 storied building, adjacent to the first building in Salt Lake, to accommodate more patients.The first building was converted into inpatient department (ward and operation theatre). As of June 2019, we are serving on an average 1000 patients in OPD and 100 patients in IPD per day.

Good to have a hospital like this in your district. Clean area. This is an eye hospital 🏥 despite of that there is dental section also.

I went there for my power glasses. Best management ever seen. I think each and every hospital in west bengal as well as in India must have management system like this hospital. The cost of treatment is very less. And the quality of treatment is best. I will recommend everyone to come here if you are facing any problem with eye.
