I had visited the centre last week on 19th of March 2025 in the Evening and got the detailed check up done.. I was advised to go for spectacles for near vision.. the behaviour of all the staff and doctor was fine.. I purchased the medication prescribed and paid my bills.. But when after the check up I had blurred vision due to the eye drops which were put for examination purpose, I was whisked to the spectacle section to take spectacle that time itself.. when I told the staff I am not willing to get spectacle now and will try to get it from mainland as I will be traveling soon, their behaviour totally changed. And as I had paid for the refraction tests I asked for the prescription for glasses to which the staff in that section totally refused and said we do not provide prescription.. Is it necessary for us to get glasses made from Agarwal hospital?? Are v not paying for the test??as I had the retinal scan done I was provided a report for the same then why not the prescription for refraction test?? Why won't the prescription be provided to the patients in case v want to get it made at a later time or from mainland?? As better options are available in mainland with respect to latest design in frames, and with blurred vision it's difficult to choose glasses at time itself.. what if the frames are not to my liking ?? So is it compulsory to pay and get something which I don't like because of the pressure of the spectacle section staff??

Good patient care with quick service. Done cataract surgery for my eyes. Obtained great results with good vision improvement. Thank you so much for the team. Will recommend strongly for everyone especially elder ones to consult for their age related eye problems as well as children to undergo general eye checkups

For last decade I have been visiting Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital (Andaman) for my own check up or my family. Despite the remotest part of India, this hospital provides the best of the possible service. The resident doctor and the staff all are provided their best to satisfy the patient.
