Review for SV Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirupati We had an eye operation done yesterday and were advised to come for a check-up today (Sunday). When we inquired whether there would be a check-up on Sunday, we were told that doctors would start seeing patients from 7:00 AM onwards. Based on that information, we arrived at exactly 7:00 AM. However, it is now 9:00 AM and when we asked the nursing staff, we were informed that the doctor would only arrive at 9:30 AM. This raises a genuine concern — if the doctor is only available from 9:30 AM, why are patients asked to come as early as 7:00 AM? Even arriving at 9:00 AM would have been sufficient. Additionally, most of the patients waiting here are elderly, and some may have conditions like diabetes, making it difficult for them to sit and wait for long hours. We sincerely request the hospital management to reconsider and revise the scheduling system. It would be helpful if patients are given realistic reporting times to avoid unnecessary waiting, especially for senior citizens and those with health conditions. I underwent cataract surgery for my in-law at S V Aravind Eye Hospital and while the medical care and surgical team were good, I had a disappointing experience with the hospital facilities. I paid ₹36000 for the surgery, but no room was allotted. I was not informed in advance that rooms had to be pre-booked, and this caused a lot of difficulty—especially since we were traveling from a long distance. To make matters worse, the hospital does not allow patients or caretakers to stay overnight without a room. This is very inconvenient and uncomfortable for patients coming from out of town. Better communication and basic facilities would have made the experience smoother. I hope the hospital improves in this area for the benefit of future patients. 1 star for facilities and not for the doctors and staff

Very responsive and supportive staff, quick response and procedures. The staff and doctors here are super supportive and take great care of patients and guide very well. The hospital staff do guide you about all the procedures involved in with regards to treatment and inform any delays beforehand and are very responsive. Except for medical shop staff who are rude and not cooperative Class A rooms costs 1200/- a day with 2 beds , both for patient and one attendant . Class A rooms private block has a very Good facility and rooms are very hygienic with attached washroom . 2 Canteens are available One at the entrance is open between 6.45am to 6.45pm - food is good and snacks , tea coffee is also available The other down the entrance which is open between 6.00 am to 8.00pm which is very much affordable price and at a little less price when compared to the canteen at the entrance . Sundays are holidays. Monday to Saturday are working . Easiest way to reach hospital is to get down at alipiri and take an auto costs only 20/- a person from alipiri to Aravind Eye hospital cherlopalli. Employee Health Card( EHS), ESI, Arogyashree cards are accepted for treatment .

I Visited 3 Times in the General ward, Nurse and Doctors co-ordination is very good, they are treated like family and Hospitality is little bit low for that reason I am giving 4-Star. Canteen Facility is available but fare is too high. My Suggestion is Increas the Doctors staff is due to what I observed in my visits most of the members are old age and they can't stand in Q for a long time.

1.hire some people who knows local language Telugu. 2. Hire some doctors who has a some years of experience because I visited Agarwal hospital before coming to your hospital they said there is a nerve issue in left eye and they referred to retina consulatation but initially your inexperienced doctor suggested for cataract surgery but when I told them about exactly the issue then they went for retina opinion. 3.Instead of asking patients to move from one number to another number, arrange your room numbers accordingly because it's only eye hospital and probably you guys know what are investigations required for cataract . There are elderly people who are unable to move from one number to another number. 4. Add few more insurances and TPAs to your network From among all your hospital is funded by TTD Trust so please respect the Temple money and help the poor in in need

I hv visited this hospital on this day 10th April. 2025. I am sorry to say like this... Staff cooperation is zero... hours together wairing due to carelessbess of staff.. I twice went to Madurai hospital of yours in last month.... Excellent service 👌🏻.. Awesome 🌷👌🏻.. No comparision of both... Tirupati staff is arragant and carelessness.. Simply they do their duties like a robos.. I onceagain appreciated the staff and all services at Madurai is an extraordinary and excellent.... Management ..Please once check it as a patient... then you knows it.. 🙏🏻

Visited Many Times .. satisfied and taken family also for their checkup. Satisfied and very ambient climate .. Staff is cool to talk and value the words Trained employees and know how to behave with people Canteen is good compared to other hospitals..much better .. prices are reasonable The parking area is plenty .. no issues Relax area and garden are cool to spend time with relatives .. Alloted rooms were clean and neat.
