Visakha Eye Hospital (Pedda Waltair Branch)

TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO HAVE SUFFICIENT MANPOWER KINDLY CLOSE YOUR BRANCHES! Don’t expect us to come and wait for hours altogether even for routine eye checkups, wasting our precious time and hard earned money. I went for a routine checkup at PM palem branch guess what happened!My refraction examination was initially done by someone. I thought they were optometrist.But to my surprise, the same person was even doing my clinical examination and final checkup (which was not same previously )So I enquired and understood that the person was neither an optometrist nor senior doctor, but a postgraduate medical student. This hospital posts PG students at branches, and we serve as experimental models and samples to their learning. For that, we have to pay 500 to get checked by PG doctor who does not have enough experience! Not only that, but you have to wait for hours together, because they have limited staff (only that pg doctor) at branches. Very horrible experience! They are simply looting our money and are not even providing genuine services. I do not understand how NABH certified such a hospital who do not even follow basic standards . I am not surprised why the initial fame of this hospital is losing day by day. I am serious about this and would like to write to NABH about this hospital and non-standard way of working. I request all the people not to visit this hospital anymore. Your money is looted and time is lost.

It's good and very well maintained. I'm very happy reason recently visiti the hospital without any appointment but they provide the treatment and send to the another senior doctor too, hospital stall maintain a good communication to the don't struggle the patient like another hospital they maintain a some software painting records. I'm very happy and thankful to the hospital team

Really one of the best hospitals in vizag had the medical team very friendly and really caring and of course the management team procedures are little slow but they too have to look into all works, Overall the experience was excellent

Got a cataract surgery done for an elderly person. The process was fairly stream-lined and ok. However there seems to be little empathy towards the elderly people. They are required to go from floor to floor for various tests, doctor consultation, reception etc. Can be challenging for the elderly with poor sight and limited mobility. Once they are admitted for surgery, the lack of empathy is shocking. The staff shout out from their desk asking the elderly people to que in a corner of the admissions ward to get pre-operation checkup with a junior doctor! Can the young doctors not walk up to the beds in the ward for these basic checks? Post operation visits follow the same way. Please show some empathy for the patients especially the elderly that need care.

Good hospital. I recommend this to patients who undergo surgical treatment under medical insurance.

We belong to Delhi. Came to Vizag a month ago to meet our son who is working here. I took my wife to this hospital for a problem in her eye. We consulted Dr. Lohith Rambarki here. He helped us so nicely that we cannot explain. The treatment given by him was excellant. I am 61 years old but I have never seen such a nice doctor in my life even in Delhi. The other staff was also so cooperative and nice. I strongly recommend this hospital.

Good for eye check up and eye operations..but time taking ... Average response from the staff .. This hospital is developed with the two doctors...very great service by them .. The hospital is good with great infrastructure inside .. sitting arrangements are also good for patients...

This is the worst Hospital i ve seen in my life , No proper co ordination between the staff , everyone has worst attitude , They dont even say anything clearly even if we ask by ourselves , The only good thing about the hospital is the parking and watchmen . I never expected such a big hospital being irresponsible and also we have no details about the management in the website . We made an appointment on 31th march 2021 and they asked us to take some blood tests before coming to the hospital . Luckily we visited the hospital the day before and came to know that we have to attend for an eye test priorly . They didnt even mentioned that in the follow up calls . We have to travel 5hrs to come to hospital and we are paying lakhs here , but the service was the worst . Everything becoming commercial day by day. These things happens when they give value for money instead of persons health. Doctors may be seniors and good but everyone expect minimum respect and response from the staff . And they dont even care if the patient is old , they just ask them to go the other floor and go to the other building. I dont know what the management even doing , how can someone be this much irrespectful and irresponsible. We paid for icl spherical but they said the operation is icl toric , so again we paid for it and today they changed to icl spherical . I dont know the name of this game tbh, and the staff dont even inform u the updates properly. They made us wait the whole day for the bills that we paid for . Worst worst worst worst ever
