Gauhati Lions Eye Hospital

Lions Eye Hospital is a renowned and one of the best eye hospital in town. From price to treatment everything is great. No doubt about it. But one thing I couldn't understand, staffs of this hospital (including doctors) can roam around everywhere in & out with the same footwear/slippers, even they use washroom with same footwear, but patient need to remove their footwear before entering waiting area, why so...!! Then what about patient's hygiene...it is very unhygienic and at the same time, it is humiliation. If you made some rules, then make it for everyone. Don't categories...🙏

Lions eye hospital well known eye hospital in guwahati overall all the doctors out there are very nice.I got a chance to work in their organisation.It was my first time in hospital field without any previous experience still I got to work there and learn many things out there.I joined there in June -15.2024, In reception after working there for nearly 1month i was asked to sit in OPD dept.I also worked there for few days.On 13th of August 2024, a lady from Admin dept told me that they got complaint and some feedback against me that I didn't behave nicely with the patients,etc,etc, but I don't know who gave such false feedback n comments.But i never did such behaviour to anyone either patients nor with any hospital staff out there. And after that they asked me to leave from next month and find some other job.So here my question is if they had told me earlier at the time of interview itself that we will be keeping you in probation period to see whether you can work out as per our criteria or not and after that We will be deciding as of to keep you in our office then I would have never joined in their organisation just for 2months to waste my time,work n energy out there.They know only to waste n insult people.such narrow mind people.And also there are many people working in the hospital who have come there in reference they used to take leaves, no time table, etc .but nobody seems to see their flaws cz they are good for all in front of everyone. Such stupid and horrible staff not everyone some of them.So atlast i would Just say that I would never recommend this hospital to anyone none of them.

Very satisfying & prompt treatment. Excellent doctor including all the staff. Been in so many eye clinic & hospital. It's always been day long affairs but here they are really fast & doing it in professional way. Cost of the treatment is also quite reasonable. One of the best eye hospital in Guwahati.

There are two female employee, they are not nurse. They are from management. It doesn't matter whether you came early or late, only the patients who is well known to those two ladies and those persons who are financially strong, only those can visit the doctors whenever they want. They don't need to come early like other middle class people. Otherwise the doctors the nice and well behaved.

Our HOTEL AP HOME'S ATHGAON ( opp marwadi hospital) is just walking distance from this venue and we provide good hospitality and vegetarian food at our hotel along with conference hall / meeting room / party / function .....

This eye hospital is owned by the lions club of India which is a renown & internationally recognized club. The Guwahati lions eye hospital is located in the centre of the Guwahati city at chatribari area. It is just two kilometer from railway station. It is located at the prominent place and can be seen from the normal traffic. This hospital from time to time offers free of cost services like, cataract, cornea and other complicated surgeries to the needy and poor peoples. This is not a profit earning hospital, rather we can say this is a charitable organization. The hospital is cool and calm and also very neat and clean. All the doctors, nurses & staffs are very friendly. They are careful and cooperative. This hospital is a reliable hospital with all the modern equipments & machineries.

Very indecent attitude from the athority. I feel they are always biased while calling your name if you come early or delayed it doesnt matter for them. There main priority is to give more importance to a group of people who misuse there power for indefinte reason.
