The Retina Centre

The best place to be,clean, spacious, and with an incredibly friendly staff (and yes, they’re beautiful too 😝). My mother underwent macular surgery here and made a full recovery. I highly recommend this eye hospital and their skilled surgeons for anyone in need of expert care! Happy customer!

Every years, I come to Retina Centre for eye checkup. Every year i forget my file from the previous year and yes they print the last years prescription which helped the doctor to recognise the issues on the power I am using. They even called me the second day to check my power for its stability. Highly recommended.

Experience are not always good and same is varies from person to person. My view's are NEGATIVE POINTS : 1) Entry of people without shoes and sandals is good but floor cleaning is not proper. Refer photos. Also one sandal for all people to visit the toilet is not hygienic. 2) After making the payment Bill not provided. Bill is essential document after making the payment. But they don't provide bill immediately. They ask to come on some other day only to collect bill. But this may create uncomfortable for everyone. 3) Medicines prescribed by the doctors of the Centre is not available in the pharmacy sutured therein. 4) Cleaning of the Cafeteria is very poor. Must look into specially. POSITIVE POINTS : 1) Doctors are very good and reputed. Looking for a good eye treatment than must visit. 2) All the staff behaviours including reception counter members are very polite. They are helpful also. 3) Query respons over telephone is superb.

The overall experience was good, and the staff's behavior was also commendable; however, there was no food at all in the canteen, and we were hungry the entire time.

I had the worst experience during my eye checkup for both my daughter and me. I specifically requested Dr. SU Ahmed to conduct our checkups, and while he did, he only reviewed the records written by the junior doctors and did not actually examine our eyes. We ended up wasting four hours of our time. Initially, two young doctors conducted the eye exams, but honestly, the same tests can be done for free at Lenskart. Then, a second lady doctor whose name I don't know recommended medication that made my eyes worse. Instead of improving my vision, the medicine caused my eyesight to become blurrier, and my eyes even started to hurt, as did my daughter's. Finally, Dr. SU Ahmed only glanced at the records and said the medications were correct, without offering any further care or investigation. We went there hoping for improvement with our eye problems, but it only worsened the situation. It was a complete waste of time and money.
