Alex Optic Bali

Got my new bifocals from Alex Optial. Ketut did a great job testing my eyes. They have a very good selection of frames from cheap to expensive. Service was very professional. My glasses arrived in 5 days. Highly recommend.

Bought my first varifocals here 10 years ago. Brilliant. Got a new pair in UK, same prescription but they strained my eyes. So I got another pair here 3 years ago and they've been perfect. But smashed the frame yesterday. They put lenses in a new frame and delivered today. Great product and great service from Ketut. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Bali (or UK).

I walked into this store yesterday with my prescription in hand to enquire about sunglasses and was told it would take 7 days, which was fine but I dont have that much time. I was then told transitions can be done in 1 day for 350k plus frames. I agreed to come back today and do that, only to find the price had changed to 850k plus frames. Leaving empty handed, I've wasted my morning.

I broke my glasses in my trip to Bali Then I found this place , such beautiful selection they have. Staff was very friendly and helped me in a short time notice. Then they delivered my glasses to my staying. The glasses is high quality and great looking Highly recommended

Very nice service! I broke my specs the first day arrived so I contacted their WhatsApp account and got response swiftly. It was 31 Dec so most of shops were closed and the traffic was crazy but the staff managed to deliver it to my villa by Gojek after few times attempts. Much appreciated! And they wished me a happy new year with the delivery parcel :) New contact lens I got are comfortable and affordable

Don't step in that shop. I brought in my brand new frame bought in Europe to fit new lenses. They kept them 16 days in all and retuned the frame scratched. When fitting the lenses the technician scratched the enamel of the frame. Mistakes can happen. But the attitude of the management was despicable. It's when things go wrong that you see from which material are people made of. They would not take responsibility. "You did not buy this frame here so we are not responsible" (can't see the logic) , "You signed a disclaimer" (wrong I didn't), "may be they were scratched before you came" (plain lie). They finally admitted that their technician was the culprit but still would not offer compensation. "The boss (Hungarian) will come from Jakarta and will decide if he offers you a discount in the glasses, leave your glasses until next Monday". The boss could have picked his phone. But I guess a customer is not that important that he deserves a call. In the end the Balinese attendant Kadek who seemed really sorry and embarrassed, offered me a "discount that would be deducted from her salary" she said. Not the right business to deal with. I can't remember putting ever a negative comment on anything in Goggle. But this time I need to alert fellow customers.
