One of the best tertiary eye care hospitals in Bangladesh...especially comparable to eye care hospitals of India as most of the doctors here are trained from those Indian hospitals in Madras, Mumbai and Madurai. A lot foreign Doctors take hands-on training here to develop their skills. I have seen doctors from the USA, UK, Ireland, Nigeria, Iran, Lebanon, Ezypt etc...

The best treatment is given here at the lowest price I have seen in Bangladesh. It is a non-profit organization. Good quality treatment is available here for just 50 taka.. Medical is clean inside. Doctors, nurses, staff all behave well. Every day hundreds of people take treatment here.

Hospital is good. It says its non profit organization but for putting lense it takes huge amount of money. Which doesnt seem to be on profitable organization.

Doctors and management were extremely nice. Director Mr Ahad, Ms Sadia and Dr Mustafiz went above and beyond. Like any other places, we encountered a bad apple, who lacks bedside manner, empathy and professionalism. Her name is Dr Shokhina Sultana, who is rude and combative; lacks knowledge- she even told me- MND/ALS happens only in young age. How ignorant she is!! Dead end cardiologist job in an eye hospital could be frustrating for her, that reflects on her bedside manner. I don’t want my positive experience ruined by this bad apple. Ispahani still deserves 5 stars. My wife had a PHACO cataract surgery in the USA two weeks ago. You get similar service for 1/10 th of the cost at Ispahani if you are lucky to avoid doctors like Shokhina Sultana. She is a shame to M A Ispahani’s values.

Its one of the best, cheapest & oldest eye hospitals in Bangladesh. The doctors are very experienced. Though the buildings are old but the staffs kept os very clean. I am really impressed & its a recommended hospital for major eye surgery.
