If you want to visit a doctor with a low budget on hand then this is a good place. You have to wait a long line to visit the doctor's assistant then you can take another line for the doctor of your problem. The doctors will not take a long time for you to describe your problems. They will rush you. But if you have all that patience, then it's a good place.

Here you can check up your eye for a 10Tk fee. It's run by the government. All the doctors are highly educated. But due to the system, they can't help us a lot. There is always a rush. Not a quite good queue system. After the check-up, you can get free medicine from 136 rooms if the doctor prescribes you some. You have to be careful with your queue otherwise you will be there for a day. So, try to be smart in the environment.

This place becomes empty and almost ghostly after 2 pm, Its a very large institute with many facilities but unfortunately its understaffed and needs more taking care off. The whole institute was looking abandoned when I visited at 8 pm to visit a patient. I don't know, I think the government should take care of the infrastructures of this institution more otherwise it will turn into another unusable government health institute.

Here people come to get free treatment,but it's a matter of regret that we are Bangladeshi😃😃 And it's our government hospital..hmm yeah it's not too much bad but too much good too! I had paid to visit the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital around December 2021 for myself treatment. It is located at the opposite of National Traumatology Institute, Syed Mahbub, Sayed Mahbub Morshed Rd, Dhaka 1207. It's run by the government. It is a multi-storied, latest structural building. It starts at about 08:00 am and closes at 13:00 pm regularly. Friday is a weekly holiday. There is a reception and ticket counter on the ground floor for the patients. All medicines are free of cost and there is a medicine store on the ground floor. All the doctors are highly educated & well experienced.  All consultants are sitting in the ground floor room. All rooms have serial numbers. There is a ticket for Tk 10/- for the first time primary treatment. The doctors refer the patients to the different eye specialist. There is on site service.There is a ♿ wheelchair accessible entrance and ♿ wheelchair accessible car parking facilities. There is a mini mosque on the third floor for the staff and patients. There is a refreshment corner on the 2nd floor. There is a big space for parking.

it is a government hospital for eye diseases. all the reputed doctors of eye specialist of Bangladesh are available here. the price of the ticket is tk 10/- only. all the people from all around Bangladesh pay a visit for their eye problem for getting better eye treatment for free of cost. The place is for this reason is crowdy and the management should take care of this.

Treatment good but administrative system too poor. for getting admission too much harassment, They keep changing date for admission. The sufferings of the patients coming from far is high.👎 1st they do various test & advice to come after 1 month for operation. After one month need to do Covid test & then changing the admission date. Should tell if no seat available for 1-2-3-4 months. Cabin condition: very clean, staff behavior: good
