ASG Eye Hospital, Muzaffarpur

Extremely disappointed with the service at this eye hospital. The staff called me at 9 am, but the doctor was unavailable. It seems that only those with ample time to spare are accommodated. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor time management and inefficient service. Would not recommend.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had after booking an online appointment through your customer service helpline. On 03-05-2025 at 9:30 AM, I booked an online appointment for an eye check-up at your Hathi Chowk, Muzaffarpur branch. I was assured that my appointment was scheduled for 1:05 PM with Dr. Amrendra Kumar (Glaucoma Specialist) and was advised to reach the hospital by 1:00 PM. However, upon arriving on time, I was asked to wait in a general queue. After a long wait, I was called to the reception counter where I had to provide my details again, which I had already given during the online booking. The staff wrote down my information manually in a register and did not verify any online booking details on their system. When I inquired about the benefits of online booking, I was told that although the slot was booked online, the rest of the process is offline, and the booking simply ensures that you are allowed to consult the doctor. Despite the online booking, I was charged the consultation fee and asked to wait for an additional two hours to meet the doctor. Moreover, the doctor’s name was neither mentioned in the appointment confirmation nor in the patient file. When I contacted the patient service department again to share these concerns, I was informed that the hospital was not responding to their calls. I was given the contact number of the branch manager, who also did not respond. This entire experience was highly unprofessional and misleading. If I had been informed correctly during the initial call, I would have planned my visit accordingly and avoided unnecessary waiting. I request you to kindly look into this matter seriously and ensure better coordination between your call center and hospital branches, along with more transparent communication regarding appointments.

One of the Best eye hospital in Muzaffarpur. Staffs are good and polite. Doctors are well educated and well experienced. (Most of docs are from AIIMS. As per hospital's presentation). One star is reduced due to It's optical shop which is very costly and it has all expansive frames & glass. The optical shop is not affordable at all for general public.

Very bad experience, there is not rules and decipline from staff members, No time value... mostly staff are not carrying properly to the patient, I Just want to request doctor and teams that please tell you staffs to coperate kindly with the patient...and please be punctual on time

Very poor management, Lesser support by staff. Booking done for OPD more than 2 times of his capacity & finally the performance time is hectic. Worst behaviour of staff and so pathetic accommodation

I recently visited your hospital and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. Firstly, I was given an appointment, but upon arrival at the center, I was issued a token number and had to wait for an hour just for registration. Following this, there was an additional hour-long wait before I was seen in the OPD. This process felt like a significant waste of time and money. I believe there could be improvements in streamlining the registration and appointment process to enhance patient experience and reduce waiting times.

This hospital seems to be exploiting people. The prescription validity is not mentioned anywhere, and when I called to ask, they said it's valid for 15 days. Generally, it's valid for 21 days everywhere. Even if it was 15 days, it should have been clearly stated on the prescription.

1. Too much time required to attend 1 patient. 2 Hours for registration and next 2 hours for meeting with doctor. 2. Less counters for attending customers as compared to Footfall. 3. No. of equipment is less as compared to Footfall. 4. Old equipments. 5. Try to reach through motorcycle or autorickshaw as parking is not available. 6. The floor area of hospital is very congested as compared to Footfall.
