I had purchased spectacles from Lenskart, and after a few months, I gave them for cleaning. But after the cleaning, the frame started rusting and losing its color. Now the frame looks faded and appears quite awkward. At the time of purchase, I was assured that the frame would not discolor or lose its color. However, after just the first cleaning/wash, the frame has ended up in this condition. I’m now worried about what will happen if I go for another cleaning.

I want to share my experience with Lenskart products with you—not to complain anymore, but to give you an honest idea, so that if you ever plan to buy something from Lenskart, at least you don’t end up being fooled like I was. I’ve been following up continuously for the past 6 days, and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same frustrating experience. My journey began when I purchased a product from Lenskart on 10th June 2023 at their Club Road, Muzaffarpur 842001 store (Order Amount: Rs.1416 Order Date: 10-06-23, Order Details: 1271451586 Address — Club Road Muzaffarpur 842001). While purchasing, I specifically asked the store staff whether the frame color would fade over time. They laughed it off and confidently said, "Sir, are you joking? This is a Lenskart product. Why would the color fade?" Trusting their suggestion, I bought the product. Recently, a new Lenskart store opened near my house, near Krishna Petrol Pump, Akharaghat Road, and we bought a few more products from there as well and I gave my spectacles which i was purchase on 10th june"23 for cleaning there—and after just one single wash, the frame color got badly damaged. The paint has started peeling off, just like old wall paint that flakes away after a few years. Now, my spectacles look so bad, I can’t even wear them to the office. On top of that, I’ve been calling and emailing customer care for the past 7 days and still haven’t provide any perfect solution they always told that it was too out of warranty. What was the benefit of buying from Lenskart and paying a premium price if the color of the frame would fade just like a local one? If this is the standard of all Lenskart frames, then honestly, it’s quite shameful. What’s the difference then between Lenskart and any local brand? People choose Lenskart because they believe your product quality is superior—something I also heard from others, which is why I went ahead with the purchase. In fact, it was your store staff who specifically recommended this frame to me and assured me that its color would not fade. That is why I bought the Stainless Steel Spectacles. So if you’re planning to buy a product from Lenskart, please read the terms and conditions very carefully, and don’t blindly trust what the store staff tells you. Otherwise, you too might end up feeling as helpless and fooled as I do right now.

Good place to shop for latest and trendy glasses. Staff behavior is good and friendly. Although it works a bit differently. They are not going to make a specs of your choice after you choose one instead they are going to order it for you by using your account. They also provide to check your eye sight and then you can choose your specs. There are lots of different options to choose from here and they are great.

You can get specs at very reasonable prices compared to others in the market . Staff are very polite here. Overall had a nice experience at this store
