Dr. Narottama Sindhu

Dr. Sindhu is an excellent doctor who share the minutest details about the patient. She treated my mother who had lost her vision due to a rare eye disease. Her diagnosis was accurate and around 80% of her vision has been restored. I am grateful to her for her patience.

I went to her clinic for my daughter but not satisfied.she doesn't know the way to treat a 4 years kid .Very very rude behaviour. Even she doesn't know how to talk politely. frustrated doctor. Don't go over there if u have self respect because she doesn't know how to talk with parent as well as kids.

I have gone for treatment by mistake which was my great mistake. Very rude behavior. Her attitude is not good, very poor which is not applicable for a good doctor. She doesn't talk with patient or guardian politely. Even the doctor doesn't touch the patient. She treats without touching the patient's eye, how is it possible. If you have not understood what she suggests and you ask questions repeatedly, she will angry with you. The patients/ guardians have the right to ask questions repeatedly if they have not understood. Because they don't come for doctor's treatment for free of cost. The patient gives them high rate of money. Without patients, doctors have no value. Even the size of chamber is very uncomfortable for patients that is very very small cabin in size. If you go first time, then you don't know where is the entry gate. Then you will try to contact with doctor's mobile number given in website. If you ask the doctor about the entry gate she will reply you come through gate No 3 which is very dirty and unhygienic entry gate back side of the building and she will angry with you that why don't you know gate no 3. This are her all attitudes/conduct. Even the doctor charge is very costly which is Rs.1000 without touching the patient. So, don't go to her clinic. I would like to give her rating if there is something number below zero but no option. Very shameful behavior as a doctor. I pray to God 🙏never give us such like a doctor in our country. Thanks.

Dr Narottama Sindhu is an excellent opthalmologist .Her expertise and experience can help patients having any kind of eye problem.she listens to her patients patiently and explain minute details like pluses and minuses of all kinds of IOLs but at the end she leaves the decision to the patient. I chose multifocal lens and I m happy that I could get rid of reading n distant specs now.she takes good care of her patients post surgery too. Dr Narottama Sindhu is an excellent ophthalmologist. Her experience and expertise are the good fortune of people getting treatment from her. My husband underwent cataract surgery for both eyes within a gap of one week. We were quite apprehensive and had a lot of doubts. Doctor Narottama listened very patiently and explained everything in detail, be it our questions regarding choice of lens or procedure. My husband decided to get monofocal advanced EDOF lenses. It was told to us that these lenses will be good for distant and intermediate vision but he will have to wear glasses for near vision/ reading. The surgery went smooth, we followed all the instructions and recovery is good. Now he doesn't need glasses for distant and intermediate vision. We just wish to convey our gratitude to kind doctor for all her support and guidance. Doctors like her are few as her focus is welfare of patient and not money.

I met Dr. Narottama Sindhu for my blurred vision and dryness in both eyes as I have autoimmune disease. Her initial approach was to provide me relief from dryness and simultaneously she diagnosed the growing cataract. She explained me in depth about this problem and gave me a hope that this can be fixed. She planned each step carefully considering my other illnesses. All the necessary precautions were taken during and post surgery. Hospital staff was also very quick and supportive. Before my surgery, I was guided on the lens that would be best for my condition. Outcome of the surgery is amazing and I now enjoy typing this review with a clear vision. Thought of going through any surgery is scary for most of us but having a doctor like her with you, that fear doesn't last long. She will make you feel comfortable and confident.
