We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to the entire team at Insight - Fatorda Office—especially to Dr. Ryan Costa—as our Senior aged mother prepares for her upcoming eye surgery end of April 2025. This journey has been filled with a mix of emotions: hope, gratitude, and, naturally, a bit of nervousness. At her age, any surgery is significant, and while we are understandably anxious, we feel incredibly reassured knowing she is in such skilled and compassionate hands. From the first consultation to the pre-op preparations, the professionalism, patience, and kindness shown by every staff member have been exceptional. Dr. Ryan Costa, thank you for your Leadership, empathy, care, confidence, and for accepting to take on our mother as your patient and perform this surgery. Your reputation precedes you and we are hopeful that this surgery will significantly improve her quality of life, and we’re grateful for your role in making that possible. To the nurses, technicians, and office staff (reception) —we thank you for treating her with respect, empathy, and understanding throughout this process. Your teamwork and support mean the world to us living so far away in answering all her questions and making her feel comfortable and prepared before and after the surgery. Professional & competent doctor and staff. My mother was operated here and everything was handled competently by the team. I have visited the clinic several times and also got appointment after months as there is long waiting list. The waiting period is long as doctor is good. Not possible to see all in single day. When the receptionist tries to explain the system, people shout at her and talk rudely. I have witnessed this many times as I have been to this clinic several times. I have witnessed the same in other clinics of dental and ent specialist. If doctor is good you have to be prepared to wait as all are waiting to be seen by him.

The doctor has a very good reputation from uneducated and ignorant people including my family who treats and considers Dr. Ryan as a god of eye doctors. It's the demad and supply game that's played here, "show people that he is a very good doctor and it's very difficult to get an appointment" and automatically increase the demand. This doctor knowingly follows a very serious lousy appointment system. For walkin Patients: Patients or their relatives have to come early morning stand in line or Que till 10.00 or 10.30 am till the receptionist arrives then take a token and come after 12.30 or 3.00pm ???? This hellerious. For telephone appointments : it's 6 months also might be extended. Hope the Dr. Ryan reads this post and changes his system of appointment and turns fair to the common people and fulfils his basic responsibility towards public.

Dr. Ryan is renowned for his quality eye treatment. So you will get the best attention in medical area. I have given 3 stars because the pre check up management is one of the worst one will come across.To have spot check up on the day you have to get there before 9.30am to be one of the 10 numbers given out. Now comes the worse part. At 9.30am you are asked who is 1st to 10th. But not given the number or your name not entered for that you just sit there till 12.30 and than the receptionist enter your name, the reason for this 3 hour sitting is unknown and no logic. Now you are told you can go and come at 3 o'clock, that is when the doctor will see you. What you think about this merry go round Dr. Ryan?

Having heard alot about Dr. Ryan I went to check for an appointment for my mother in law. Thanks to the receptionist I never got one. First day she told me appointments are full till November if you want walk-in we give tokens at 12.45. I visited the clinic exactly after 3 days to my surprise I was informed doctor is on vacation. Doesn't doctor have a schedule or he just plans things last minute I wonder as the receptionist didn't mention about doctors leave. I was told to come on 16 so I reached clinic at 12 just to make sure I am well before time but was told the walkin appointment for the day are full. I left and went back the next day this time at 10.20am just to know walkin appointments are full 🙄so I asked the girl what time should I come to get the token and her reply was I don't know and she got back to her work. Doctor if you are reading this review I would really request you to make a proper system for patients visiting you. Imagine an aged person going through this process of yours!!! Being a doctor's clinic you should have helpful staff not such rude and unapproachable staff. They need to know proper ethics to be followed and provide correct information. There are plenty of good doctors but there's always a reason why people prefer a certain doctor. I am sure you understand this.

The best doctor I ever seen in my life, my child name Enzosh had eye problem, it was suppose to do eye surgery and Dr.Ryan just cleared in one week with just drops. God bless you Dr.Ryan

The Worst Receptionist ever. Doesn't know how to smile and greet the patients at all. Doesn't even provide proper information. And instead the receptionist says that we do not understand whereas she herself Doesn't give correct info. The doctor is really good but the staff-especially the receptionist who was at the desk today morning needs to learn to talk to the patients respectfully.

The BEST Doctor in town indeed BUT with the WORST STAFF who are GIVEN the WHOLE RIGHTS to ACCESS which PATIENT ACTUALLY HAS AN EMERGENCY To Which they have ABSOLUTELY NO Knowledge about. I Went there Today with an EMERGENCY, which is not Categorised as AN EMERGENCY BY THE STAFF (As they only Think that Patients COMING WITH AN RED EYE are Considered Emergency Patients) Rest are all LIARS that have visited there for Fun. I Wish Dr. RYAN COSTA Hopefully go through this Review & TAKE the Necessary Actions I wish the Doctor & Staff were More Like each other than POLAR OPPOSITES!!
