Mehta Superspeciality Eye Hospital

Dr. Amit Mehta is an excellent experienced doctor and hospital having all diagnostic facilities for eyes. Went there for my Father’s eye problem. Doctor explained that it was glaucoma and the further line of treatment. Do not believe the fake one star reviews who cannot wait even for 10 mins beyond their allotted time or those who have problem with hard working girls at the reception who do their best to manage all patients.

This is an excellent hospital for eye issues in this region ( avoiding therefore visits to eye Hospitals in bigger cities) especially cataracts and is one of the few hospitals with a doctor exclusive for Paedriatic ( children) patients. Its a family run hospital with four eye surgeons and the senior surgeon with years of experience. The operation theatre is the cleanest I’ve seen in this region and is of international standards. The staff is very polite and friendly with even more friendlier doctors. Since it’s always full of patients it would be a good idea to seek a prior appointment. The pre counselling is great with all your questions answered truthfully and patiently by doctors taking a personal interest in clearing all our doubts. Can’t recommend this hospital enough.

My recent visit at Mehta super speciality eye hospital (Doesn't justify its name at all) was a nightmare. Some doctors didn't know what they were doing, and I think the hospital should be closed. The way they treated patients is really bad, and they need to fix it urgently. The thought of others falling victim to this level of incompetence is infuriating, and it's time for decisive measures to be taken.

most pathetic staff and service, trying since week not getting proper appointment, I have booked appointment my self from Just dial selected slot of 10.30 am...Thn they called me & told me to come at 11.30 am saying doctor coming at that time only (bade nam vale doctor normally aram se hi ate hai) so I went at 11 am (still 30 minutes early wat they have told), and guess wat I get answer,,, doctor sab to 10.30 tak hi available they...aab wo nikal gaye....bahut nama ho jane se ye sab hota hai...

I had an unsatisfactory experience at the eye hospital, particularly with Dr. Samip Mehta, the cornea specialist. Unfortunately, I found that he lacked knowledge about the treatment, which left me concerned about the overall quality of care provided.

We want the best doctors for eye operation of 3 month baby boy at jamnagar... baby suffering with problems to see this beautiful world... at this situation we found the eye care hospital (shree neha ma'am) she gives a perfect treatment to this baby and Dr. Perfectly done the operation and now the baby is stable with good health. It is possible only with the great efforts of Doctor... thanks ma'am

Not time punctuality by Doctor. The hospital had given us the time of 10 o'clock for eyes specialist he came from Ahmedabad. But doctor came at 1125 am or when we complained that you are late than he said just "1 hour late , I have also come from Ahmedabad".... If he comes from Ahmedabad then we also paid special fees (Rs 1000) for special Dr. He should be ashamed that being a eye specialist doctor he says that I am just 1 hour late. He is not capable of being a good doctor. Even if there was an emergency, than what would he said ?....... Sir, because of this unpunctual doctor, the name of your hospital is getting spoiled. @Dr Amit Mehta, Sir kindly request that check the case personally and put your view about this nonsence activity.
