I recently went for my cataract surgery at Sukharam Eye Hospital. The hospital was very clean with modern technologies and a calming atmosphere, also Dr Dhavat Sukharamwala was very polite ensuring a comfortable and fully informed surgery. Overall i had a great medical care as well as customer service.

Experience: The hospital is very clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff is eager to help and cooperative to patients. Not like other hospitals prioritizing business than actual healthcare. The eye checkup process is very precise and accurate. Prescription glass numbers taken during the test are very accurate, thanks to the knowledgeable optometrist staff and being further verified by Dr. Dhavat Sukharamwala for guaranteed accuracy. From my personal opinion, Dr. Dhavat Sukharamwala is a gem of person, very calm and nuanced in his speech but do not be fooled by his calm presence, he's knowledge is stupendous on the subject and he is very meticulous but pragmatic in his approach to the eye problems of the patients. I have met many eye specialists in Surat, as I have been wearing glasses since my early childhood but I have never met any doctor like him. The only word for me here is 'Perfect', in my honest opinion. Equipment: The Equipment being used are second to none in terms of capability, certifications and belong to the brands like Zeiss, whose name resonates with cutting edge lens technology but here them being for treatment and diagnostic purposes. Most of the equipment are either designed in Europe or imported from there. Big thumbs up for that. Expertise: The staff management is very effective and efficient. There are no delays in treatment, the procedure is very smooth. No sudden surprises. Everything related to the test or other treatments are conveyed to patients prior to them being conducted. Doctor guides patient if in case some condition requires surgical intervention but the guidance is like guidance not like pressuring patients to go for it. Doctor is actually providing healthcare and not conducting business like others in the field. Ethics: Dr. Dhavat Sukharamwala, does not mandate medicines or surgery if not necessary but he always cares for the eye health of the patient first and guides them for the right treatment with proper information. For him, I feel that Healthcare means more than business, such should be the ethics in the field of healthcare in India. Such a gem must not be lost. I applaud the ethics here, the quality of healthcare and patient-first approach at the Sukharam Eye Hospital. Big thumbs up to the doctor and the team.
