Dr Varun Gupta

I got done the cataract surgery of my both eyes by Dr Varun Gupla. My cataract of my both is very successful. Dr Gupta is a well experienced and a very good eye surgeon having very good professnal skills .He very polite a very good person. The staff is also very cooperative and polite. I wish a good health and long life for him to serve the people.

I am very thankful to Doctor Varun Sir for doing successful Cataract Surgery of my mother. Very experienced and humble doctor. The staff of the hospital is also very humble. Keep it up !

There was a very High pain and reddish in my eye. According to doctor Varun my eye was infected with flue. He advices me some medicine. But I am not reliefed. In next visit he changed medicine. But I lost my clear vision after use these medicines. I was afraid and I approached to Govt hospital then I got some relief. But my eye vision still blurred.

I visit their for weak eyesight, my left eye is 2+ from birth, so right eye is my only hope, i go their for right side eye examination, then my eye number was -0.25, he suggest me, u need not to use specs, yet he already knows of condition of my left eye 2+, so I follow his consultation, but after a few months, my right eye which was my only hope, again I feel some vision problems, then again I visit their, this time he diagnose the no of right eye was increased from -0.25 to -0.50, due to heavy load on only one side eye, this time he suggest me to use specs, how he could be so irresponsible towards his patients, when he already knows about my left eye sight condition 2+ size, I think this was the failure of the Dr to take my case in casual way, if he was loyal to his professionalism, then the eyesight of my right eye could be stable to -0.25, if he suggests me to use specs in past when my size were -0.25.

Worst doctor. Please don't take treatment for cataract surgery from here. He didn't operate eye properly for cataract and there are many issues even after 6 months of operation. Doctor doesn't give proper attention to your issues/problems post operation. He is busy in his mobile during your visits. Even he did eye vision test very casually and recommended us wrong eye vision number. I will suggest not to take treatment from here.

Not really happy with the service. I won't say he is the worst but I will not recommend him if you want someone to really listen to your issue. First of all, professionalism is missing. Timings mentioned were 4pm to 6pm but doctor arrived at 5:40pm only after multiple calls and frustrating enquiries. Secondly, he hardly spends 5 minutes on each patient. No matter, what you say, he will quickly check if your eyesight is weak, recommend a medicine and that's it. You might be having different questions, different problems but he doesn't give enough time or attention to your problem. So, if you just have to get your eyesight checked, go for him but if you have any other concern, I will not recommend him to you.

A very good human being and doctor. I am very happy and satisfied with my experience of cataract surgery on my eye with a ten year glaucoma history and a previous trabaculectomy operation from PGI. Kind and considerate staff too.
