In particular, I would like to commend Night Duty Nurse Miss Stanzin Youdon in gynae word for her outstanding care and compassion. Her kindness, empathy, and dedication to her patients' well-being were truly inspiring. Even during the late-night and early morning hours, she consistently checked on patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Miss Youdon's selfless commitment to her work is a testament to the high standards of care provided by SNM hospital. One of the best government hospital with required facilities. It is nice and clean compared to other gov. hospitals. All the staff and doctors are supportive. Visited for dog bite and they vaccinated me with smile. Also beware of stray dogs when in leh specially in narrow lanes of old leh road as they recieved around 10 12 cases of dog bite on a daily basis. Hospital has a large area for parking.

The hospital registration fee is just 10 rupees and the consultation is free. The doctors are very polite and talented. The hospital is very clean and it’s beautiful like its some castle from outside. There is parking area. You need to wait in queue for consultation. Especially during evening time.

As a tourist, my family and I had the expected health trouble due to the low oxygen levels here on the first day. We visited this hospital and the doctors and staff took excellent care of all of us. They kept my mom under their care till the evening just to ensure she was completely fine before discharging her. I would highly recommend this hospital. They’re very efficient and are very responsible.

I had a bad sore throat and tiredness. I just came here to test sp02, BP and temperature. But these guys first took my covid test then after it was positive they refused treatment or tests. They asked me to go to a hospital 20km away. Now after 2 days i came here for an x-ray and they made me wait in covid ward which is in pathetic condition where you will get more new illness to recover from. Lesson for all. Don't get tested for covid. Not once did my oxygen drop below 90 and all i need was good food, paracetamol and rest.

Almost all Specialist of Doctors are serving here for people of the world with no bars.. But few other staffs of the Hospital viz 1.Staff at the counter. 2.Staff at X- ray Section 3.Staff at Laboratory section Few staffs from these section are not Loyal to the job as well to the Public.. They prefer their friends,family and relatives more as compared to the general people. They give their know Preference for lab tests and x-ray and opd no... They don't follow the normal sequence and try to me clever but many other patients do recognise it but don't speak up for it... As I visited this hospital for my index finger treatment about 4 to 5 times ...So Hospital administration should specifically instruct these staff for to be genuine and a good employee to the Govt.. Updating new review on 1 March 2023 based on my visit on 2 December 2022 The hospital is as such Awarded for best hospital in Ladakh multiple time , may be that only on the day of Inspection , few department of the hospital are in good shape and work great... But some of the section of the hospital needs improvement and frequent inspection by the administrative team of the hospital, particularly in the winter the hospital is not kept cleaned , mostly the washroom and waiting area ...

I recently had surgery on my index finger after my tendon was cut in an accident. My surgery was performed at Sonam Nurbu Memorial Hospital in Leh by Dr. Wangchuk and Dr. Dorje. Both doctors were extremely professional, but I want to especially highlight Dr. Wangchuk. He was incredibly kind and patient, explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand with clear examples. The surgery took about half an hour, but I barely felt anything—it was done so perfectly. I am deeply grateful to both doctors. We are truly blessed to have such brilliant surgeons at Leh Hospital.🙏🏻

Best medical institution in Leh, separate section for tourists for treatment. Best Doctors n cooperative staff
