A very good experience at the hospital. I had taken my aunty and they were well taken care off. I too had my eyes checked and very happy with the way the Doctor spoke and cared for the patients. Special call out to Dr. Indira. Well located and quite spacious with clean wash rooms. Parking is on the side roads and service road. Good place to take care of your eyes. Give it a shot 👍🏽

Had to visit the hospital consequent to retinal detachment of Swapnil Das, my 22 old son due to an external injury. He was examined thoroughly at various stages, which were seamless and smooth, and finally, by Dr. Rakesh Seenappa. He took at least 20 minutes in examining my son. The problem was explained to the patient and also to us. The probable complexities, if not treated in time, was highlighted; and Scleral Buckling was advised. My son, who earlier refused to go for surgery due to unacceptable fear mongering displayed by another retina specialist at Kochi (would never forgive him), himself asked the probable date of the procedure. What a relief for us !! And then Scleral Buckling was done on 7th March, 2025. Some complications developed due to sudden fall in blood sugar level (attributable to long period of mental stress that the poor boy had to go through), but the way the anesthetist doctor (I am so ungrateful, I forgot his name) handled it, showed the utmost care that is taken here. I am grateful to you, Sir. 🙏 After the surgery, Dr. Rakesh briefed us about the procedure done, and assured us that the surgery went well. On the next follow up on 8th March, the next day itself, we were shown the latest scan report of the eye which, when compared with the earlier report dated 1st March, revealed, to our great relief, the anatomical success of the Scleral Buckling. Then follow ups were continued (and these follow ups were free of cost, being a part of the package of Scleral Buckling). There was improvement on each follow up. His vision on the injured left eye has restored to a considerable extent. Since I am located at Kochi, my son, a 22 old year boy, alone attended the follow ups without any hassle, because the consultation process is very much streamlined here. And, Dr. Rakesh took the trouble of explaining me, over phone, the developments on each follow up. Now, having seen and interacted with him, I cannot say that I have not seen God. For us, for our son, Dr. Rakesh is nothing but God. My gratitude to you, Dr. Rakesh Sir. 🙏 I remember that the insurance desk took care of the health insurance aspects and the surgery was altogether cashless for me. I express my gratitude to such angels as well, who are there in the attire of OT sisters, Counselors, front desk staff, the refraction-technicians and the OCT technicians, and even as security guard. 🙏💐 Also, in this opportunity, I convey my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Sruthi at Kochi Centre, who, herself being a retina specialist, referred my son to Dr. Rakesh, and fixed appointment with him. My father has already written a review, but I thought I should too. My dad has put forth all the details, but what will stick with me the rest of the life is the sheer professionalism shown by every single person involved at every single stage of the surgical process, and of course before and thereafter as well. I am absolutely in lifelong debt to Dr. Seenappa for the patience, expertise and calmness throughout the surgery and even before, when he explained the details of the same to me extensively while also calming me down after my horrible experience with an retina specialist in Kochi. On the day of the surgery itself, he had also been a calming presence thoughout. But another person I will never forget, even though I can't recall her name, is the anaesthesist working there. I was in an incredibly tense mental state before the surgery, and without the assurance and calming presence she offered that day I would probably not have had the courage to go through with it. My words will forever be inadequate to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Agarwals Rajajinagar and the wonderful people there. I would without any hesitation recommend them to anyone with any opthalmological needs, particularly if you are in need of a retina specialist.

I had a very good experience with Agarwals. From the reception staff to the optical staff, everyone were very patient and understanding. They made sure my entire routine check up went smooth. I would definitely recommend the hospital to my other Chashmish friends 😎
