Sankara Eye Hospital Bangalore

Went for general eye checkup, took 3.5 hours on a weekday morning. Ample parking space for both two and four wheelers. Registeration process is smooth, but better to book appointment and come as walkin line at registration desk moves slower. Total eye checkup time can be speeded up, from time at registration counter to getting the eye power prescriptions should be under 3 hours atleast on a weekday.

I have been visiting here from past 2 years, sometimes for routine checkup and twice for my father in law's surgery. The folks here are very nice and welcoming. They will be guiding you thoroughly and very hospitable. Excellent Doctors, great equipments and best eye care at a very affordable price. would recommend for best eye care.

I have been here multiple times. It has taken 4 hours so far and our turn is still awaited It consistently takes 3+ hours despite having booked an appointment( not sure for what is the reason, and it’s something they should honestly do something about ). According to this, it should be not more than 2 hours in the worst case. Well, of course there could be exceptions. Unfortunately, I could not make a personal request saying my MIL is a senior citizen, since most people around were similar age. Moreover, I saw on the nurse's console some tagging called FASTTRACK. But, did not see an impact of this in my specific case.

I had brought my kids for consultation.The staff are friendly and helpful at every turn. Wait time will be less of we have prior booking. Even without booking it won't take too long. However that depend on the crowd. So far, I'm happy with the help and support I have received. Hope the hospital maintains the standard of service like this.

Dec 2024 Actually an old patent so kind of visiting in regular interval. Doctors are good and soft spoken. They explain properly and patiently. Nurses are good too. Help if required to move around. Department coordinator are all tyoes😁. But they are ok as they need to manage long list of patients. But they should improve. Some departments waiting time would be more than an hour. Specially if you have been transferred from other department. Reception staffs are nice and guide well. Parking is huge. Canteen available with average food. Website appointment page enquiry will be responded but may be in 1-2 days. Better call to take appointment. Fees is not very high. Specific test would required to pay extra. Overall a good place for eye care.

This is one of the best hospitals for eye care. The doctors are patient and very empathetic. The entire staff including the doctors are all polyglots and make it a point to ensure that the patient is comfortable in their own language before they prescribe anything. Special thanks to Dr. Rajesh and his team for helping us out and being a solid pillar of support for the past 1 year. He has been very clear, advised us well and strove to keep us calm even during times of uncertainty. He prioritises his patients and that comes through strongly in his actions.

I took my nephew to Sankara Eye Hospital in Bangalore for his eye check-up, and the experience was excellent. The hospital had all the necessary facilities, and the process was very systematic. The eye check-up was thorough, and the staff made sure to explain everything clearly. My nephew felt comfortable throughout the whole process, and we were impressed with how professional and caring the team was. Overall, I’m really happy with the service and would recommend it to others seeking quality eye care for their loved ones.

I had taken my Mother in law for eye checkup after taking prior appointment through telephonic conversation for 11:20 AM. while registration process I was told that we have to wait 2 to 3 hours. I requested the lady on the counter, since patient is old and having heart issue if it is possible to make it possible to speed up the consultation. I was rudely informed that there is protocol which has to be followed. we wiated till 1:00 pm and doctor advised to F lounge to put drops of medicine to dialate the pupil. but there was no one to adminisrate the drops. waited there for 20 minutes than decided to abandon the ordeal and left the hospital since patient was feeling uneasy.
