The Battu Eye Centre

He is the worst doctor in Bangalore city. He operated on my mother (68yrs) for cataract (both eyes), and since last 1.5 years she has been in pain, with doctor showing no consideration and answerability. He keeps telling us post operation, it’s not my problem if your eyes are paining (the issue which he created). Avoid this doctor if you have any other option.

I visited this clinic for my eye issues, they made me undergo an eye test which I have already taken recently in a leading eye hospital. As per my understanding it is not necessary to take eye test however they charged 3k only for the check test. He is just a normal Doctor but charges Rs. 1000 for single time consultation which is very high and expensive. Totally I spent 4k for my single visit still i my eye issues remains same. For Dr.appointments, they create too much hype but the end result is zero. Really disappointed.

Something extremely shady going on with Dr Battu and his clinic. I cannot disclose here but cannot also just not alert parents of young kids. Please think twice before you proceed with him. Nothing is what it appears to be.

The best ophthalmologist I've ever consulted. Takes enough time to patiently explain everything and to test you and reassure you about everything. Such a wonderful human being, Dr. Battu. Very difficult to get appointment, and waiting times might be long (because he spends quality time with each patient), but I absolutely do not mind this at all in this day and age where it's impossible to find any doctor who actually spends time with a patient and is this responsive and helpful. Kudos to Dr. Battu. Will keep coming back to him!

What a marketing gimmick, first when u call they say doctor is busy and appointment is available a week after. This is called creating demand. Later, after a day, they call back saying, one of the patient cancelled and hence earlier time slot is available which will be just a day after. This clinic is more into economics and not medical.

He is an excellent doctor especially for kids. I recommend this doctor if anyone is looking for a good doctor for their kids. The way treats kids is exceptionally wonderful. He is elderly doctor has lot of experience. Very honest which is rare to see these days But u get appointment only 15 days prior. Appointments will be always full for next 15 days

His referral to the retina specialist at Aster hospital turned out to be his wife. Dr Battu held back that detail in his referral letter to the hospital. Odd, isn't it? Battu is a smooth talker but apparently he forgot to tell me while recommending spectacles that visibility would remain dim in one eye because of a defect he couldn't fix. It was for that defect I went to his clinic in the first place! So I went back to him and that's when he decided to tell me about the problem and give me the referral. Figured the specialist was his wife from the text message the hospital sent confirming my appointment. Spent good money at the hospital as well, where his wife made me take some tests but couldn't solve the problem. Not blaming her for that. But because of Battu's seemingly dishonest manner of referral--at least to me, it all seems suspicious. Still, Battu works for others, even if he didn't for me. Go really early or be prepared to wait hours. No appointments.
