Shankar Eye Hospital

I consult this doctor since 2010. Earlier they were forcing us to buy the spectacles from their shop itself. But now they have gone to next level. For person like me who never used lens before, he said if he has to check and prescribe me lens, he will charge 1000 Rs whereas usual consultation fee is 250 rs. Is testing your eye for contact lens and spectacle lens so different? Seriously?. Then he forced me to order the lens from him only. I did. I had both spherical and cylindrical power(not less power which can be ignored) but the lens that they sent me had only spherical power with which I couldn't really see things clearly as my cylindrical power was high. When consulted the doctor again he says get laser surgery done with lens you can't get cylindrical corrected. He was totally wrong and I managed to order a lens with cylindrical and spherical power online, with which i can see comfortably. Good thing was i returned the lens and they sent me the money back.

This doctor has to change his attitude while talking to patients more igoistic

Not very transparent. Better to take a bus to Bangalore and get treated in Narayana Netralaya. It will even workout cheaper

Specialist doctor for eyes and polite staff Overall good but the thing is there is no parking for vehicles.
