It's part of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Trust, headed by Sri. Veerendra Heggade. As expected the treatment is carried out by experienced doctors. The staff was courteous and the registration was fast. Since, I had visited in the evening on Monday there were very few patients and the consultation was completed in 30 min. On a normal day it would have been difficult to finish in that manner. The consultation timing is from 9-1 and 3-4 however the staff says it's 9.30 to 12. So pl call and check before visiting. The fee is very nominal and the facilities are excellent. The only sore point was that most of the staff were browsing the mobile. Especially the optical shop staff. Thanks to them, the hospital is rated only 4 on otherwise 5

SDM eye hospital is the best hospital for the common people. I visited this hospital for my eye problem. I have taken the consultation of Dr. Ashutosh R Bolar. He is very nice and polite He is very much caring for the patients. He explained my eye problem in a very excellent Way and suggested for surgery. I was convinced by him and my eye problem was solved after the surgery. I will strongly recommend this hospital and Dr. Ashutosh R Bolar for the excellent service

One of the best eye hospitals in Mangalore. Very professional staff and very clean premises. They undertake various types of eye surgery and have a very good panel of doctors. My doctor, Dr. Ashutosh Boloor, is available here in the mornings for consultation. However, you will need to arrive early as the queue for consultation. If you arrive by 8:30, then you will be let in by 9:30. Also, they are very reliable in diagnosis and have maintained their standard for a very long time.

This hospital is the best solution for all ailments related to eyes. Everything here are excellent..consider nurses, staffs, doctors all are caring and supportive. It is located in the amidst of the city but peaceful and clean environment is seen inside/outside. Charges are really very less without compromising the quality of the services. My special Thanks to Dr.Rashmi Shetty for her kind but expertise treatment to my mother. Dr.Rashmi Shetty is young, energetic moreover enthusiastic. A very sweet lady performs several surgeries in a day, and also gives consultations to many pre/post surgery patients in a day.
