I recently visited to this hospital for a routine eye checkup, and I was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention I received. The hospital's facilities were modern and clean, and the staff were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The doctors at this hospital were thorough and took the time to explain all the tests they were performing and the results they obtained. They were patient and answered all my questions, making sure I understood the diagnosis and the treatment options available. One thing that stood out to me was how the hospital prioritised patient comfort and safety. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The waiting area was spacious and well-lit, and the staff took the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Overall, I highly recommend this eye hospital for anyone seeking quality eye care. The hospital's attention to detail, expertise, and commitment to patient care make it a top-notch facility in my book.

Updated review as of 05 Aug 2022- (3 stars). A few days ago, received calls (probably because of the previous review) that they were willing to fix the problem! Visited the hospital and the spectacles was taken back as they had earlier provided the lens of wrong power(not sure, how is it ok and can be ignored) and also the frame had fitting issues. We were then asked to wait for a few days, for the repair. Finally received the corrected spectacles with the right power of lens and proper fitting. I appreciate that they finally got it resolved. Was at least worth so many frowns, phone calls and visits to the place! Original review below- 25 Jun 2022 (1star, because 0 was not an option). I REGRET VISITING THIS HOSPITAL. On my first visit, the doctor consultation and interactions with staffs of spectacles division was normal. But then after almost a week, I had issues with my new specs and had to revisit them. That's when I realized that there's no value for the patients as they have already received the money and it is a free service. The staffs treated as though we were asking for a charity! There was a new patient who came when we were discussing and we had to move out of the lab even though we had an issue, just because our service was free. The staffs mentioned it themselves that they did not show us all the available good options for lens and frame just because they thought we wouldn't want it to get expensive!! I don't understand how can they judge about what we can afford. Extremely disappointed. Neither is the spectacles issue resolved. Nor they seem to have a resolution. I regret my choice of visiting this hospital. A small spectacles shop would have at least have a decency to treat the customer right and provide the promised service in case of an issue.

I was very happy getting treated by one of the best doc in town. DR.GAYATHRI MAHADEVAN. I have to tell that she asked me in detail about everything I am going through eith patience and treated me so nicely. She makes one feel that there is nothing to worry which is very important for a patient. And I saw the other guy reply saying very badly about a doctor. It makes me sad that they write about a doctor mentioning that they laughed while coming, they made patients wait for long time, etc. I was one of them when this happened. I was there in the hospital. Ma'am was happy because her patient operation went success. She told me when i asked her casually. Without knowing about anything and taking about doctor style or waiting time one should not talk. I was treated nicely. She dint make anyone wait till 11 as mentioned.. and that elderly person who he is taking about is my grand ma only. Even she was treated nicely without any time lagging. I request the hospital not encourage such things. And to that person who even got refund amount and deleted that sentence to think twice before talking.

Excellent eye care, thanks to Dr. Gayathri madam and staff for great experience right from the beginning. Everyone made me feel comfortable and the outcome was great. I've visited most of the eye hospitals in shimoga but i didn't got any result for my problem(dry eyes). I feel it was the best eye care centre in shimoga.

Really this hospital unique :- 1)Staff's respect and respond gentley, they are well mannered. 2)Dr's are gentle,careing, and they treat patients in softly. 3)Dr's and Staff's people's have good understanding and co-operation between them. A SPECIAL THANKS TO :-Dr.Gayathri madam and there staffs.

Very professional and systematically managed hospital. The doctors are very good and experienced. It shows in their deduction of problems of patients and they very patiently explain the things to patients. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this 5 star specially for soft spoken staff's. Thank u
