Dr. Jacob's Eye Care Hospital

My mother had her cataract operation done in 2012 at a private hospital where Dr.jacob used to provide service. Since then I have known the doctor. I recommend anyone that asks me for a good eye care clinic in the city here because of the kind of attention a patient is given. Many of my friends and family members have done their cataract operation here successfully. Polite staffs and a well maintained hospital.

Cataract surgery procedure went fine and staff is pleasant and friendly. But Dr. Jacob himself is very rude and arrogant. He doesnt like it if the patient asks any questions and replies very rudely. Isnt it a doctor’s obligation to respond to any doubts the patient has ? Especially when it comes to something as sensitive as the eyes.

Great gratitude to Dr.Jacob sir of Jacob's Eye care clinic ,stadium road ernakulam. I was suffering from blurred distant vision due to cateract in both eyes.. Was not getting the right vision while two wheeler driving .Consulted Dr.Jacob sir and he advised cateract surgery. Surgery done for both eyes in a week. One week rest advised and all was rectified. I am now so happy.. Good eye clinic,latest technology,experienced staff,are the peculiarities of this eye clinic. I just gave my insurance card and all the formalities done by Smt.Deepa -(PRO) -there. Thank you again Dr. Jacob sir and all the hospital staff.

Both my parents underwent cataract surgery at this hospital. My mother, who is 80 years old, was struggling with severe vision impairment in one eye, with some medical professionals expressing doubt about the potential for complete recovery. Nevertheless, Dr. Jacob Mathew performed surgery on both of her eyes, remarkably restoring her vision to 100%. This outcome has brought immense happiness to my mother, particularly given her reliance on a wheelchair and her partial hearing loss. She is now overjoyed to be able to watch TV with clarity once again. Furthermore, the hospital offers counseling sessions following surgery, which have proven invaluable in providing my mother with the emotional support she needs during her recovery process. The professionalism and kindness of the staff only added to our positive experience. In summary, we had an excellent experience overall, and I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jacob Mathew's eye hospital without reservation.

I got a procedures done for cataract on both my eyes two weeks ago. The lenses used were multifocal toric lenses by synergy. I couldn’t be happier with the results. My vision feels as good as can be. The whole process, from the appointments, the testing and finally the procedures itself performed by Jacob were seamless, painless and felt personal. Very grateful for what feels like a fresh lease on life..!

Dr.Jacob is very rude and arrogant. When we visited and asked him few doubts , he doesn't answer but arrogantly tell , did he tell that . You shouldn't ask questions like that. Very bad attitude towards patient and by stander
